astro is not hdtv
normal channel is not hdtv.. the sony is capable of displaying hdtv images provided the source is also hdtv.. ur xbox will be able to project hdtv images.. thus u will onli enjoy hdtv when ur playing xbox thru the sony.. if ur watching astro thru ur sony.. pics will not improve as per watching astro on normal tv.. so ur answer is YES u still can watch normal programs on the sony.. but the quality will be the same as ur old TV.. |

Aiks.. thats the case.
Like that can someone recommend me a good nice PQ 720p LCD or Plasma. Budget less that 6k (if less better). Hopefully 40". Any ideas..? |
