hi bro, i have no idea bcz i always withdraw at atm and absolutely no problem. but once swipe the debit card more than 3 times per day will have such problem. ald increased the limit and called to complain few times. = =

At times it happens bro but very rarely. Most common place to have such problem is at the petrol bunk...

Me since day 1 cannot withdraw from PBB Bank . Esso Debit Card. No button to choose withdraw @ the ATM

Hi! Anyone here owning a Maybank Platinum MC Debit? Is it possible for a person to get his name embossed on the card for new application? As i know, MBB- issue "nameless" Cherry Visa Debit cards nowadays and that can be pretty dangerous.

No. Maybank doesn't have such service for its debit cards.

A forumer said esso pb debit card can choose amount to pump at esso gas station.

so, do you need to have more than Rm 200 cause mine didn't and it failed

at esso & mobil, any debit card from any bank (include credit cards) u can use to preset the amount u required to fuel at the pump terminal itself...

DO NOT enter the card first... please select button Preset as indicate in the screen... it's the second from top if i'm not mistaken...the screen will ask u the amount to preset, then u need to enter your desired amount using the numeric keypad...& then press enter.... the screen then will ask u to insert the payment card for RM__ (which u already preset)... then only u need to slot in your card... example if u preset rm50, & your available balance is rm50, the transaction should go through... no need to have rm200 in your account...

another issue,

maxis meps kajang refuse my debit card because of no name embossed on the card !! they said got issues peoples swiped debit card which not belong them... & then later got complain from the debit card owner...

so how ?? i said, it's standard practice debit card issuer will not embossed the name on card ... they said cannot also... WTH ?? i said can i write it myself using pen or marker ??? haha... lol.. stupid la...

Keep it for your own reference. Dispose it only after it's been billed to your card.

Thanks he-sham. Always wondered how to preset the amount at Esso's pump terminal as I like to have rounded up figures. Esso's procedure seems to be the inverse of Shell's. I suppose I should swipe the Smiles loyalty card before Credit Card as usual? Will try anyway.
