on my magic, somehow the side of the screen (when the phone is held vertically) is not as sensitive as the middle/top/bottom. So I don't like the landscape keypad, always missing the space bar! And there's more distance to travel for my thumbs because the keys are further apart.

this really depends on your budget and your liking...
the interior really got nothing much difference other than the camera and 3.5mm jack.

1 is price at 2200-2300 and another is price at 1499(if still available).
really on your choice.
have u see the actual phone yet?
i can say both have it's own characteristic and they are nice! brows.gif

thanks for the replys ^^

icycokes, the on screen keypad u means is numeric keypad?
tried it too >.<  ~ also miss many times ~ hehe

agreed with matttcc, maybe need time to practices ^^

i just scared regret again ~ haiz.

yep.. the keypad is the numeric keypad on screen where you get to use T9. i believe they work alot better than symbian as we are having capacitive touch screen instead of nokia's resistive touch screen.

i bet you already made up your mind on android.. both magic and hero have the very same spec.. except for the camera.

one thing on magic that turns me off is the audio jack.. its using HTC's crappy USB port.

i own both magic and hero, the BIGGEST difference btw them is the LCD. Magic LCD is not as vibrant, large (although both states as 3.2in) and crip as Hero.

After flashing the latest official ROM from HTC that have the Sense UI on my magic. I get multi touch, but only in certain applications, like browser and image viewer. Google maps doesn't support multi touch.

Interesting, I never realized this when comparing magic (with sense ui) and hero side by side at PC Fair. Vibrant, size and crisp, both looks the same to me.

The difference I noticed is that the LCD for Hero looks a bit deeper than the magic, meaning that the screen looks like its further away from the casing than Magic.

Oh yeah, besides the camera and 3.5mm jack, I think Hero also have an anti fingerprint coating (which might explain my observation above), but its only useful if you don't have a screen protector. smile.gif

Yeah, you need a bigger screen protector for hero, not because it have a bigger LCD, the comparison is quite clear in this pic. brows.gif

u should wait for Motorola Milestone .. if u are "kaya" guy .. coz milestone got alot of potential .. in a future use .. coz .. now milestone/droid user growing so fast .. so its high potential it will be next device can be tweak/rooted .. flash variety of ROM like HTC Dream right now(coz its the biggest android comunity) now milestone/droid comunity is near to take over dream already .. u should wait .. and yet .. motorola droid got rooted already ..

anyways it your choice then .. but its the best choice u can make is Motorola Milestone .. SE Xperia10 , HTC Bravo .. is just too far

I just had to buy the htc hero cause my k850i got worse day by day. 1st the keypad then the lcd screen then it wont even turn on.

If given that my k850i works well I would have wait for milestone or even as far as bravo. smile.gif

HTC HERO has no complains from me. smile.gif

hey bro,no need to be so rude.
not only u having both phone.
peace ok? is juz a normal comments from the others. smile.gif

i cant compare the screen whether the screen is more crisp or vibrant...
because from the first day it's already come with the screen protector.
i believe it's depends a lot on this little plastic.

you are able to compare without the protector?

cross posting here, I have managed to flash my Magic using SG ROM by creating a gold card.

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=30626827

Good enough for me, and seems like a very safe method. smile.gif
