warranty is stil valid, all you need to do is to flash it back to the original firmware then make the claim. dont go and make the claim with your IPhone Jail broken. Make sure to restore it back to the original firmware then make the claim.

Me kinda understand abit on jailbreak,but still on blur side...
what do u mean no more waranty?
Which mean if sumthing wrong with my iphone,i cant go back to maxis/apple to warranty it?
*
yup.. U r rite..!! Provided u can restore back using iTunes to ori firmware or not u might need to fix from out of maxis This mean u have to pay for it.... Jailbreak iPhone cannot claim warranty

bare in mind if screen blackout or internal hardware got problem cannot restore is at ur own risk

If anything wrong occurs during flashing etc etc, there's always the life saver option of putting the phone into DFU mode and reflashing it. It's almost brick free in that sense.

i jailbreaked my sisters ipod touch 2nd gen other day, and mid way through flashing, screen blank, buttons dont work, cant be turned on. i thought i bricked it. really worried until i remembered DFU!! saved the Ipod Touch. Redsnow is an excellent application, it will teach you the step by step process in real time. 4-5 mins, JB Iphone!! Fun begins!

no email account has been setup on my iPhone yet. Not sure about the negative amounts. It does that by itself. At this moment I just off my iPhone. If not sure bleed dry. I just emailed Hotlink and ask them to revert all these charges since I should have gotten my free 500MB data since the moment I walked out of their centre. How long they take to activate it is their own problem.

How can my iPhone use data when it is sitting idle? I just note that I put my iPhone down at 11:00am and you see at 11:02am, it uses rm2 worth of data!

if all you need is transfer files i will recommend iphone browser or diskaid. Diskaid is available as a try for a limited period.
However if you need to run command, apart from running ssh you can install the terminal on cydia and run it directly on your iphone.
I used itunnel a couple of times in the past but hardly ever need it these days.

@idoblu,
It is possible to utilise RM2 of data - that's just 20/40kb depending on which plan u are on. If U ter-press Safari or open apps like Weather/YouTube/Stocks, U will automatically be connected to the GPRS services.

Go to Settings --> Usage and check what's ur current usage. If U haven't jailbroken ur phone the information on that is pretty accurate.
