QUOTE(aizad02 @ Aug 5 2009, 02:10 PM) maybe ur external hdd is in ntfs format. By considering ur problem is ur external hdd is in ntfs, you have two choice then. 1. reformat your external hdd to fat32 filesystem. (you will lose your current data in your external hdd) 2. download "ntfs-3g" for mac. Here (can just copy like usual) Thanks alot aizad. I'll try!

QUOTE(th3_glove20 @ Aug 5 2009, 11:48 PM) sori newbie here...the purpose of the reg is meant for international warranty?? Not exactly. its just to make it a lot easier for you when it comes to any sort of warranty related issues. ie. you can just bring in your machine to an authorized service center, without the need to show any purchase receipts, etc, as they can just look up your serial number.

It doesn't matter that you register or not. The reseller will register the notebook regardless. Sometimes you'll need to bring along the receipt to prove the date of purchase in case the dealer registered your notebook 1 month before your purchase. If that happen, Apple will just take your receipt date as the warranty start date.
Note: I found out that the reseller registered my MBP 2 months before my purchase date when I bring my MBP for servicing.

the best advice if you are new, worthwhile to note this. Unlike HP or DELL they dont really have a step by step learning curve set in their webpage.

QUOTE(Violin! @ Aug 6 2009, 03:28 PM) Is there any screen protecter for the MacBook? I'm using Moshi iVisor AG. Which makes your screen anti-glare.
