Sorry sorry its bpm lol, by the way i dont have any hearth rate monitor i just take the reading from the cycling machine that i tried out.
Ooo... Ur using the stationary bike la... Some stationary bikes have heart rate readouts, provided that U wear the transmitter la. Some gyms might provide the transmitter.

When I was cycling, I did intervals using rollers. One of my favorite workouts was 1 1/2 x 3 1/2, that is, 1:30 mins at max effort, followed by 3:30 mins recovery, repeat 10 times. Typical heart rate for those workouts will be around 170-180+ bpm..

My point is, 30 secs is just too short for U to hit 160+ bpm, unless Ur sprinting uphill... or Ur last name is Bolt... tongue.gif

No offence chinleong, but I think you'd have a better chance if u lower the price a little bit. Because occasionally, in certain road races here in KL, polar opens up booths and they offer discounts. 10-20% discounts.
Which translates to ~RM200 on ur model right there. I remember because the promoter wanted to push a model that has gps to me for 20% if i'm not mistaken but i didn't have money.

Otherwise, yeah ebay should be the best place...good luck.

At last someone responded biggrin.gif

Thanks for the information, okay I'll open the price now for negotiation. I believe the forumers in LYN street smart don't really appreciate this kind of gadget. So I'll give my best price to the runners thread.

Anyone interested please PM me to negotiate the price, as my friend would like to sell it off as soon as possible biggrin.gif

i think 1hr workout on mills is fine, anything more than that will be boring. If u want to done road races, you have to do ur trng on roads to get a feel of it. The mills doesnt give you that.

As ccube said, the feel is indeed different. I feel road is more challenging with humidity, uneven surface etc., while mills is very convenient and has perfect surface.

Think if you got access for both, you can alternate. nod.gif

If you run hard, sure la difficult ..
If you do a chill pace? i am sure it's going to be okies ..
but bear in mind of coz ur climbing the tower, in a space enough only for 2 runners side by side ..besides that 4 flight of steps = 1 floor so 1 floor is actually 4 floors biggrin.gif

if i rmbr correactly, 18 btw and a km or two prior to that ..pretty much all uphill
