wow, seldom run? but if dun run often hw do da cushions wear out?
ur shoes are old?
u hv to run regularly to build bone density/ strength in your knees and feet tongue.gif
*
the shoes i talking abt is those like working shoes, outing shoes..flat, hard wan
i dun train for 10k, but i do alot of sports occassionally..i run oso run for 2.4-5k below 20 mins, i train endurance more..

may i assume u dun run often then?
b specific.. wat sorta shoes u use? badminton shoes?

u say u train for endurance? in wat way??..
bear in mind for us as runners it means running OFTEN to INCREASE MILEAGE hence endurance.. 10km 3/4 times a week to sum is nth smile.gif
as runners running 2.4 -5k even daily doesn't help much..

FYI, i too run 2km and 5km BUT for speed training oni once a week..
3/4 times a week i do 3x 10km and 20km as me LSD tongue.gif
WOw looks like lotsa ppl opting to run Sing smile.gif
i guess u all will see race organization in a diff light laugh.gif

for me.. m--u--st resi--st the poi---son.. biggrin.gif
*
i have jogging shoes, if jogging i only use them..
i meant those working shoes i wear to work everyday is kinda uncomfortable..
i train by runnning at least 2.5k within 15 within or less, after that will train for strength then continue running again...

for god sake, just get a decent pair of running shoes for running.  dont have to pay so much if your mileage is extremely low.  just go and look out for those sales.  else i can tell u, u regret for the rest of your life when ur knee give way at older age.  trust me cos i have seen lotsa of similar incidents like you cry.gif
*
i have a good decent running shoes from adidas.
Yalor, today i din 11km is 78mins. So far knees not giving me any problem, i'm sure the stupid admiral shoes is rock solid at the bottom causing the problem.
So long din run, pacit alot. rclxub.gif

There was a carnival thingy going on beside the stadium also what. Shah Alam drivers arent used to hving traffic jam... ahh.. boohoo.

Had a torturing run. But towards the end after entering stadium entrance, my husband saw me from afar and grabbed my hand. We ran towards the finish line together. He finished a few mins earlier and was already wearing his selipar. He's such a doll I tell you wink.gif

I used to run alone. I understand how u feel smile.gif. Get a spouse/partner/sibling/good fren to run with you biggrin.gif
Eh  blush.gif  blush.gif
Finish late ma. Late finishers are very unlucky - no Milo, no water, no medal, nobody gives a hoot about you. So it's nice to know someone is waiting for you @ the finish line rain or shine biggrin.gif

GF dun like sports, i asked my frens to join in...but all malas wan...haih..that's why i end up going there alone...
