There was a runner passed away during the Putrajaya Night Marathon, quoted from one of the forumer in hooha.asia:

QUOTE
YES, there was a runner whom passed away. when he passed the 15km mark (6th drinking station) he just collapsed, ambulance responded to him but then they decided that he needed a doctor to attend to him. therefore he was rushed to the sick bay at venue. The doctor incharge did immediate CPR but the runner did not respond to any treatment. he was then immediately sent to hospital putrajaya.

His family members have been contacted. the funeral is today at Kota Tinggi (johor).

May, Yau Sze Chow rest in peace.

Condolences to Mr. Yau's family

Here are the results of the Putrajaya Night Run
http://hooha.asia/index.php?option=com_con...93&limitstart=7

Though looking back at all my timing, I realised I didn't get fitter as to no training at all. At least 10 minutes off my 21km best cry.gif

chinleong: On the shoe of course. But not only you. There's a few runners that dind't have their timing recorded too. Maybe some faulty chips.

navilink: Heard it's of cardiac arrest. So far only the forum on hooha can confirm this as papers has not reported on this.

I see some people put the chips and clip it on their shirt (vest), strange.

Those chips should be put on top the shoe. So please do it.

Anyway, for those running and felt that they can't continue anymore, don't push yourself too much. Might be hazardous to your health

u mean for the 7.7km one? i don't think u can potong Q.. when u arrive at finishing line, they give u a position card, only with that card u can take ur medal.. i think they only have 400 position cards kuar..
