i can accept other maxis center get the fone early than my 'stupid' Times Square maxis center, but i mad about ppl get iphone earlier than me which booking in same center!!!!
really duno how the system work!!!

i bet u need to check wit the center....
although they are maxis branch, still manage separately by branch manager....
there's probably a standard procedure to follow...
but whether each and every branch practice fully complied, or some tweak and turn based on their own decision...that's no tell...

if u unhappy wit the branch, best is to lodge complaint...

wow.. congrats.. i booked on 1-sep 16GB white until today still no news.. i think Maxis Ampang Point is the fastest centre to get Iphone according to u guys.

i call them up and told them tat i will go overseas for further studies or then if i cannot get it before 2 oct,i would like to refund my deposit.then the lady said will call me later.then later she call me and said tat 16 will need to wait for more 1 month plus and their 16 gb stock are for JULY pre-booker,and she told me tat they got i 32 gb tat they havnt call the customer and ask me to take it if i fell ok,then i though if i wait for 16 gb will collect at NOVEMBER,then i just top up few hundreds buck and collect 2 day~

another Ampang Point successful customer.. waited for 17 days! only..

i went to MC just now to check on the status.. and i said i received call.. they still said my stock not there yet.. they said Maxis call is not accurate sometimes.. they just call u because the stock arrive in Malaysia mayb.. but the most accurate is the centre's call... BS!

and when Maxis called me.. they said longest i need to wait is 30 days.. but the MC told me might need to wait for 45 days and the name list for next week is not yet update.. wtf.. so furious.. Call centre say one thing.. MC say another

ya. i think it is a worst maxis center so far (maybe got more worst but i nvr been).
the gal (malay mixed india???) at payment counter juz ask me go off if nvr recv any call.
lucky got 1 malay gal willing help me chk on system.

i said at least 10 ppl got the fone even booked in Sep (actually wat i mean i know from LYN here )
den the malay gal said "no ah, cust made booking here in Sep n get the fone is only few, less than 10~"
so meaning few ppl (<10) booked in Sep n same center recv fone earlier than me

Been waiting for 22 days already and counting. Made my booking 16GB 3Gs from Maxis Taman Tun. Called Maxis today and 1 lady told me that it's worldwide shortage. People who made their bookings in August will get it, not in September. She said she dunno when my unit's going to arrive.

Guys if you want to look for a realiable source of information regarding your bookings, please get it from Maxis Center and not from Maxis call center. Maxis seems to have outsourced their customer service department to a company and employees of that company have no idea on what is going on with your iPhone booking.

Jz receive call from the MEP that I booked my iphone which located in themines. Damn happy when I receive the call because I sms the guy atleast once a week and bombard maxis email 3 times. Not long I receive call from the MEP guy, I receive call from official maxis which I tell the lady my problem is solved because the MEP already call me and inform me to pick up the phone. Then the lady say: I was going to tell you it was we inform them to inform you.

I wonder if my 3 times email bombardment works or it just happen that my Iphone reach on time. haha!
Btw, did I mention I booked 16gb White? XD

Seems like MEP at Ampang Point is the fastest, quite a few of those (including me) who booked there got their phones in less than 3 weeks, superb. So what are you waiting guys, raid that place!
