Dont bother using the online booking. Its never works for me.
Just drop at your nearest Maxis branch and pay RM200 (Cash) to get a receipt and maxis agreement. I believe the cash money is better than the confirmation letter. |

It seems like Apple keep on refreshing their iPhone line every once in a year. Now it's 3GS, who knows what will come later? Price-wise, is it worth to buy it now if I'm just beginning to enter the iPhone world? Plan to use it for camera, video recording, iPod functions.

For those who have an iphone 3g may opt to keep using theirs cause there's really not much difference. It's still be using OS3.0I just went to Maxis today with the SMS, did not get the Email. Paid my deposit and i'm off to go !! Can't wait! haha This post has been edited by zeropulse: Jul 16 2009, 07:25 PM |

A few people have asked about using multiple SIM card with the same account with Maxis. Actually Maxis does not advertise this actively but it is possible.

Now Maxis release the iPhone 3G S with very very nice price ... For my advice just direct to iPhone 3G S |

@djkeoni,
Some people fill it with Movies and lots of Songs, etc. Whether U'll need 32GB is really entirely up to you but well most of us are kiasu - *smiles* @D.Sync, Yes it's a good time to get it but I'm pretty sure Apple will be releasing a new iPhone come Jun/Jul 2010 so if U wanna wait U can too; except the wait will always be forever because until Apple goes bankrupt they'll be introducing new iPhones every now and then @zeropulse, It's not possible to say the i3GS and the i3G has no difference; aesthetically perhaps you're right but internally and when U start comparing speeds, there's nothing to compare! |

On my side I think this would definitely be the best time to get the iPhone well at least you are paying for most of the function that it should have previously say if you are not a gadget freak I'm pretty certain that the 3GS will last you for at least 2 to 3 years.

@bluesky87,
Yes the i3GS should be good enough to last for at least 3 years but wouldn't know what kinda surprises Apple's gonna spring on you in 2010 and 2011 so.... |

Double post zeropulse.
Well like I mention unless you want to chase the technology depending on individual. Just like computer, I am still comfortable with my Core 2 Duo I wouldn't say the 3GS have the best spec but at least it is up to standard and worth an investment. |

@vui_msia,
Yeah those and more but well I have this naggy feeling the look of the iPhone will be altered slightly next year, if not it'll definitely be the year after but ah well whilst Apple is working on it, I'm gonna work hard on enjoying my experience with the i3GS @zeropulse, Am sure he's got his next in line ready to take over @bluesky87, You're absolutely right ! I'm loving my i3GS |

The other option to "run" away from this data usage nightmare is to use Celcom 3G which capped at 5GB. But problem is not sure how's their speed and coverage.
