I guess it doesn't have anything to do with when you book the phone. It's about where you collecting it and when you collect it.

Basically if you booked and collect in low traffic area then you have higher chance to get. Also collecting in first 2 days will get it. So, it doesn't matter if your appointment is what day. As long as you booked and walk-in to collect on first 2 days then will highly get it.

If U want to get instalment for prepaid purchase, check if your credit card company can do it for U. Some forummers have done the groundwork so U just need to check here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1091499. If U haf additional information, it'll be good if U could share with us so we can update the posts.

ic ic..... i have check few banks , citibank, hsbc, aeon, they r not provide any 0% interest or installment... 0% interest or installment are only for their partner merchant....

after 4 years register with LYN, this is my first post which show my frustration. Booked at Maxis KLCC, suppose to collect today but from yesterday onwards no more stock..Have to wait till 18 August. Weird thing have not receive any sms/ email bout the delay.

I am very dissapointed in Maxis. Three weeks ago I emailed Maxis to ask them if I could preorder the prepaid Hotlink kit online in advance. They told me this was possible, but only after arriving in Malaysia. So I waited and went to a Maxis store yesterday morning.

So I preordered the iphone but received a sms today with the request to pay RM200. Unfortunately I was informed today that I couldn't get the iPhone in combination with Hotlink.

The answer they gave wasn't clear enough to me. I didn't quite understand why they couldn't pre-order it for me.

I just pre order via Hotlink Prepaid Plan at Maxis Center without need to pay deposit

All prepaid plans are scrapped at Maxis Center Pavilion KL. At the counter they told me it's not possible to preorder the prepaid Hotlink phone anymore. They simply told me to come back after a month, or to try and buy somewhere else. I didn't quite understand the exact reason, besides the fact that they want to deliver postpaid contracts rather than prepaid.

Pre-order Hotlink wasn't possible anymore from today onwards..(because yesterday it was...)...

where do you preorder?
i also want to order via hotlink plan
but last saturday i went to maxis sunway
a guy said cannot order through hotlink plan anymore

at Maxis Center Seberang Jaya Pulau Pinang...n told me stock will arrive at 18 august but he said 18 august is not sure...

guys.. is it true that you can no longer pre-book iPhone 3GS for hotlink?
I've seen some forummer having such problem.. can someone clarify?

yeah, now they dont allow pre-order with hotlink plan. they only allow value plan or idata. its stated at their website.
the hotlink plan is only for those that already booked online and those that have booked but havent collect.

i heard when they official launch to public then only you can buy with hotlink plan again. for bookings only value plan or idata

with a deposit of RM 200. Orders are available only for purchases with i-Value and iData contracts.

I also want to post my frustration here. Booked w/ MEP + already paid RM200 but then simply give stupid excuse no stock. Huh... den what purpose i'm paying RM200. Juz imagine how much Maxis can make when dis Pre-Book money if the put in bank n collect daily interest. I won't deal w/ maxis anymore after dis...
