this afternoon i receive a sms from sunway maxis center, say they have no stock for 16g and 32g.
then i call them back, and they say they the next shipment will arrive on 18aug and they will give this stock to those that has already pre booked.
haii... im suppose to collect tomorrow, he say no need to come. LOL...... anyone from receive the msg from sunway maxis as well?

of course they need to give this 18aug stock to those prebooked cause they gave this 1st batch to all those who didn't book. @#(!*&%@#$

This probably depends on the store itself. Some are more relaxed and some are more strict. Some only realize short of stock once they sell to some non-booked. But this is all my own speculation. I still think they did not manage the stocks properly.

Cause they did not do proper research. You see, they got burned during the first launch of iphone 3g. Can't sell. That's because it was brought in late by 1 years after people who really want it already bought it.

This time, it's world wide release. Nobody got it yet except a few waterfish who bought it at high price from opportunists. Of course people are going to rush for it.

This shows the marketing people in maxis is really lousy. Never do their research properly.

how they can lie to them, cuz from what im aware, maxis staff will check whether your name is on the booking list or not, then only sell it to you. this include the ivalue and hotlink plan. just curious hehe

yup i think we talk to the same person.... they cannot do anything.... i ask them when is the shipment , they say might be this evening but they din say anything about 18 aug....
i'm confuse how come other outlet got those info saying the next re-stock will available on 18 aug...????

i personally receive a phone call and a text message from maxis HQ and maxis center sunway pyramid, saying that the next shipment is coming on 18/08 and they could take a few days processing at the customs by the time it reaches maxis for distribution it could be abt 20th plus ...and this is nationwide.
i guess most of the prebook ones will get theirs at around the end of the month soonest ...

i have the assurance from this 2 personnel with their names, hope this piece of news could clear the doubt and the miss communication on the public.

Online Booking. Paid deposit RM200 1 day after booking at Maxis Gardens. Collected at same place too.

Bought Hotlink pack during collect. But today only received the 500Mb free SMS.
