Don't know about the swipe X times thingy but I never paid any AF to HLB for many years as they have been waiving it.

CIMB is offering 0% for 6 months but not sure got any up front fees for new members.

PB 6 months 1.5% upfont for 6 months and 2.5% for 12 months.

Thought Affin's rate was 3% upfront for 12 months but I guess that was the old plan as hackqym posted different rate.

Alliance Bank called me yesterday offering 0.5% per month for life reducing balance and no penalty for early settlement but need to do BT RM10K I think.

HLB 0.5% per month for 6 months based on reducing balance but got penalty for early settlement.

Click on my signature below for more info on BT.

You worry too much lah. If really need to reduce credit limit no problem mah, follow tgeoklin where reduce the CL to RM1K and still can use the card to get discount biggrin.gif

yah, MBB did not sent my pin number for both my MBB Petronas and AMEX CC. I register for online application for my AMEX CC during the Treats Fair (and got free pen & pencil smile.gif ) where they gave me a temporary pin number so I can go to the ATM and set my pin number and then register for online account.

I had to apply (i.e. fill in a form) to get an temporary pin number. Only with this temporary pin number I could go to ATM machine and use my AMEX CARD. Since I did not apply online application for my MBB Petronas Card, I still don't have a pin number and I have had the MBB Petronas for about 2 months now. My M2U only shows my AMEX CC account.

Just call CS and you will know for sure.

HSBC callous in sacking call centre workers
Emily Chow | Jul 31, 09 12:15pm

Two-hundered and forty-one workers have been left stranded by HSBC's decision to shut down its local call-centre in Jalan Ampang

What the heck, soon I have to talk to a non-Malaysian CS rep if I call up HSBC.

What are you talking about ? Please elaborate further and provide some proof of where you got your information from. Your statement can cause unnecessary panic to HSBC customers.

HSBC M'sia is downsizing? That's definitely not a pleasant news. Oh, I should advise my family to take money out from the bank? I'm a bit "kiasu" type and I did the same to Citi end of last year.
