COMPLAINT against wetfusion

First of all, this is a confession letter of a client towards wetfusion of his attitude in handling his online modding business. I wouldn’t want to start up this actually but his attitude is already out of the boundaries which I cannot accept.

The story started when I sent my psp on 24th Mar 09 to him for dual nub mod and as I was being told by him that my psp will be done within 2 weeks time but I know this mod is hard so I didn’t rush him for that. Also as requested by him, I had bank in full amount of RM180 on the same day I posted my psp. One month later, I posted a reply on the thread asking about the progress of the mod and his replies as refer to screenshot attached.

I have been really patient waiting and waiting till I got his sms that he has completed everything and will post the psp back on 16th May 09. After a long wait of 3 days, I have been online checking the tracking no. that he gave and also called up the poslaju hotline to check for the tracking no. but the poslaju person told me the tracking no. does not exist. Immediately, I called him up and asked him what’s going on. He told me he will check and later on, he replied back that he got my psp back from the kuantan post office and will explain to me later on.

Without any hesitation, I replied “so u will post again now?” Guess what, he replied that “I’m at pejabat pendaftaran bro. have to make new ic” I replied his sms within 1 minute, logically thinking, since you are in the post office and the post office is still open, why don’t you send it off again instead of wasting time to make another trip to the post office? Double job isn’t it? Guys, don’t you sense something is wrong here?

Never mind then, I’m just looking at the bright side by telling myself there might be some error happening at the post office that wet need to bring home and correct it. Then since he said he will explain so I call him up at night yet nobody answer and I was trying to reach him for the whole night and also the next day yet still fail to reach him. As the result, I don’t get any explanation about why my psp is still in kuantan post office. What he did to close up this case was saying he put his hp in silent mode, was very busy and please give him some space, nothing related to what I really want to know but he did commit he will send my psp back to me by last week. So I lay my trust on him once again and give him the ‘space’ that he want. Last Sunday, I pmed him if he has send out my psp when the time he was online cause I don’t get any news from him about sending back psp to me. He replied back he did sent at 4.40pm in the afternoon on sat and he said the tracking no. remains the same as previous. At the same time, I was really curious that how come he still can use back the tracking no. which was posted previously. Therefore, I request to resend the revised tracking no. to me to double confirm in order to avoid misunderstanding occur. Again I have been waiting for another 3 days. I still don’t get my psp back and I have called up the poslaju to check the tracking no. The reply was as same as last time, YOUR TRACK NO. DOES NOT EXIST. I have been trying to contact him and sms him since today(26th May) evening but can't get through and delivery failed. Wet, if you really have sent it, can you post up the poslaju receipt as your proof? What you left for me now is disappointment.

It has been more than 2 months now and as a client, what we wish to get is good services from someone that you rely on to get the things done. Therefore, do you think it was a good service when you call to ask for info but he never bother to answer your call, never bother to pick up your calls and never bother to reply the sms? While the psp is still in his hand, how do you guys think I will feel when I call him urgently to discuss the matter with him and yet he just ignored my call? His only reply to close up this case is that he is tire and busy.

Well, when doing business, no matter how busy you are, a good business dealer will never missed up an urgent call or even did missed a call they will call them back and explain. After all, he is the one who accepted the mod job. If he cannot do it, just inform me frankly. Am I right?

I have been asking him to post up the picture and video of the psp whether work in progress or have already done but thing doesn’t go right. Since he claim that my psp is done and ready to send, why can't he upload photos or videos of my psp? He seems to delay and delay and never realize what he had promised me to be done and until now there is no videos of my psp mod being uploaded instead of the completion of others client mod who come after me.

Wetfusion as known as Mohd Afiq bin Abdul Razak, I hope you take this seriously and tell me what actually had happened to my psp. I wish to get my psp back as soon as possible in a good condition. You owed me a duty of care and if u did breached that duty of care causing damage to my psp, you have to compensate me for the wrongful act that you have been done.

* You are being such a trustworthy person towards others client, but not to me. You give me no choice but to solve everything here.

If he did broke your PSP, he might running away from telling the truth and pay for the damages. TS is such a great client for being patient. Salute.

post office oni can renew roadtax, license, and etc.
but not making a new IC there.

After reading joker's post, the whole thing does seem very fishy. Based on the past posting, whenever wet has completed a mod on the psp, he will always post up pictures and video of the completed job for others to view. But why didn't he post up anything on joker's psp?? Is the mod completed or has something happened to the psp during the mod?? It does cast a doubt on this whole thing.

But frankly speaking joker, I really admire your patience and tolerance in this case. I would have lodged a police report long ago.

Now, even though I don't agree with the way wet handles this case, I certainly cannot tolerate some unknown person trying to make use of this case to create racist problem. I am referring to a posting by an unknown person in wet's blog as shown in the print screen below :-

again as a lyn forummer who lurks in the custom mod thread, i somehow trust him with all successfull deal that he made. each one of the psp arrived safely even though most of the times it is late.He has a pile of psp,i mean so many psp that he need to mod n repair in a duration of a week. If you're in his shoes,i doubtly that you can settle it.He uses his sleeping time just to mod those psp and the next morning he has to walk miles just to send it to the post office.Also in the next day,he need to walk to each place to settle down things for his shop.Yes, he done all of this by just walking.He is somehow unique IMO,willingly to walk for miles here and there.Moreover,he don't have any internet connection at his house.so contacting him is somehow a little bit hard.

TS, you sound like an extremely calm person....after all these, you are just disappointed with the suspect. i salute you no wonder suspect could take his own sweet time on ur PSP...anyway, best of luck to you TS!!!

assuming that wet doesn't lie that he finished with TS's psp,and assuming that wet has already sent the psp to pos laju for what he claimed... it is either that the psp is stuck in kuantan post office or that it stuck at the TS's nearest post office.This problem has also been encountered by his previous customers,pos laju sent back the psp as for some unknown reason, n sometimes the tracking number is also wrong at the very first moment.who knows and if you notice that so many online dealers complained on pos laju's services for not being efficient and slow,some of the items are MIA...


Considering that wetfusion has gone through hard times(go view first page of the custom mod console thread,).. psychologically he need some time to be alone with no one disturbing.the more pressure you put on wet, the higher the risk he'll do something beyond our imagination, positively or negatively ..either that he finished all the psp and stop taking modding request or that <put worse case scenario here..>.thats why i can only give a facepalm to TS for giving more pressure to wet..


and when TS send his psp to wetfusion,he should know the risk for the psp to be late as wetfusion only give an ETA..and the deal was based on MOU(Moment of Understanding).He should check the previous deal wet has made and how frequent that there is a delay between the process of sending the psp to pos laju and the day it arrived to the customer's house.wet also take small margin of profit,for what he claim as 'duit minum' to clear his throat for walking a long distance to post the psp and buying the LEDs.

All I can say after reading your post are:

1 - If he's already got piles of PSP to work on before, why take another order? Want to get rich fast? If I were him, I would settle a batch, before accepting another
2 - If he's so successful, why can't he even get an Internet connection? Even if he's a greedy fellow, he still can subscribe to rm66 package, cheaper, slower, but will make communication between him and customers easier.

To TS, I hope you'll get your PSP safe and sound.

I use the service of Pos Laju every 2 weeks to post things up to Shah Alam and I have never encountered any delay, items stuck in Post Office or wrong tracking number before. According to a member from Pos Laju, they will only reject the consignment if the details are incomplete. If the tracking number is non-existence, that means the sender never send out the things. The sender only take the consignment note with the tracking number from the Post Office but did not submit the items to be posted to the Post Office.

When wet decided to take up this psp mod business, I'm sure mentally he is aware of the pressure and challenges that he is going to face. When he decided to accept joker's psp for mod, he is the one who gave the estimated time of completion to joker. When wet gave the ETA which is Estimated Time of Arrival, that means he is very certain that the item will reach joker within the time frame he gave. Please understand the difference between ETA and ETD (Estimated Time of Departure).

As for the monetary issue, whether this psp modding business is making a profit or not, wet himself should know better. Afterall I did saw from a previous post that he made RM18K for a particular month. No one would waste so much effort and time on a losing business.

There are a lot of assumptions here and there, so the best person to clear up this whole thing would be wet himself.

once you post something with poslaju, the form with tracking number already printed all information, that's impossible for you to reuse it again

Apsidewatch, can you read properly and please stop talking crap? TS wants to solve it...+ we (me n TS) already confirm with Pos Malaysia that the tracking number is fake/does not even exist. how could it be stuck in the post office?Try and be in TS shoe...wat will u do if someone have ur psp and still nv return it to u? heck, that was TS's first psp..Most of Wet's deal r quite good and only 1 or 2 cases which had delays...but not as long as TS..stop coming in talking bullshit...TS is still unable to reach wet as his phone is still turn off (wth?)

Pos Malaysia branchs' differ to one another, at a place the service is good but at another point it sucks.and you got nothing bashing me as i only try to tell my opinion and hell i don't care with your psp,why should i?

Likewise I am also just giving my own point of view on this matter. It is never intended to be a bashing to anyone but if you choose to think so, there is nothing I can do.

As per my previous post, I have already mentioned the best person to clear up this whole thing would be wet himself. But if he still choose to avoid joker's calls and sms, then he is tarnishing his own image, ruining his own reputation by being untrustworthy.

Maybe you are wet's buddy, that's why you keep siding him. For me, I am giving my own point of view in this matter based on the incidents that has actually happened.

Chil2..come on..it is not siding to who and whatsoever..i'm not buddy of wet just a new fren with him..can you imagine working alone..doing the soldering, buying LEDS, thinking about the circuit, cutting the stuff etc..alone maa..without any help from anybody...and you all asked him so many to mod this and that..mine also got delays...i sent to him before chinese new year and get my PSP back about 2 months later..i also worry that my psp gone forever after being conned 1st time buying psp at mudah.com..then finally my wait worth..wet called me himself and send everything to me..the tracking numbers, postage date..my tracking number also didn't exist..i called post office many times..then after a week..my psp finally at my hand..

I know rejecting customer call etc is not a good image as a businessman, but the only i can say is be more patient and i believe he will send to you your psp..working alone with sea of PSPs...i can't imagine myself...

I think this case similar to Bro Infra, which finally get his psp back after having hot issue until want to lodge police report. but finally the case settled down. Hope this case too will end soon..

I totally agree with FarCry3r. When wet decided to accept the psp mod jobs, he should have thought about his current situation. Is he able to complete so many mods? Should he continue to accept more mod jobs since he still have so many psp on hand to work on?

If he decided to accept the mod jobs and give commitment to the owners on the completion date, then don't blame others if he has to work alone, doing the soldering and buying the electronic stuff. No one force him to accept the mod jobs, he accepted them himself. He shouldn't over-estimate his own capability if he cannot do it.

Aiyah! i dont agree with this.Everyone in this world who agreed to the modification work but never will agreed on the damage caused by the party and FINE with it. If damage arise, the party have to compensate the person. Refer to the case of Donoghue V Stevenson in the law of tort .
The defendant owed the duty of care to the plaintiff when the plaintiff sought information or advice from the defendant, the defendant gave the information knowing tht it would be relied upon by the plaintiff.If the plaintiff in fact relied on the information and suffered loss, the defendant have to compensate the plaintiff.

By applying the law to the case, the wet owed duty of care to anyone who seek to rely upon him to get the mod to be done. If wet can foresee that taking up the mod wil be causing damage to the party and yet still agreed to get the mod done, when he accidently did damage the psp from the negligence act, he have to COMPENSATE the party a new psp. yea. This is the responsibility of wetfusion.

Perhaps this incident should be served as a warning and precaution to those people who want to send out their psp to someone that they do not know personally for mod. Is it worth the risk? Do you want to experience the distress and disappointment that joker is facing now? Give it a serious thought.

Alright, joker open this thread is just for his problem to be settle. I think now let us left it for joker and wet to settle. shall we? no one can claim is the joker's fault neither is the fault of Wet. but the fact is Wet causing so much doubtfulness at first to joker which out of the boundaries that he cannot accept so thats why this thread is being start up. Welcome...i already experience that...feeling like yur psp gone forever..more over after u being conned by a shit person when buying PSP online...but again, i trust wet so i handed him my psp..and finally it worth, now i'm a part of modded PSP members around Malaysia and around the world...

Bro, you can wait for 2 months or half a year for your psp doesn't mean that others have to follow you and keep on waiting and waiting fruitlessly. Want to talk about agreement? Then what about the agreement that wet made to joker when he accepted joker's mod request?? He breached the agreement. Think about it carefully. You don't understand (or don't want to understand) joker's distress and perhaps regrets so you won't understand his situation either.

So it is CUSTOM MODIFICATION, a very hard modification to do but don't forget, wet himself accepted the job. He accepted the challenge, no one force him to.

Yup! is just a complaint . not saying Wet is conman. so hope he get thing done and post back as soon as possible.perhaps next time he should upah secretary or worker to help to answer the call and help to post back the psp on time. thats good feedback from everyone. * to garyfox. forget to quote.*

hakim, i did make contact with wet but yet the problem is not solve.
what i know now is he got my psp back from kuantan's post office yet he didn't let me know when the whole thing will be done and send.
he is offline and i can't get him to solve the rest of the problem.

Wet accepted the job with agreement from Joker rite?? TS just want to know What's the problem...
just wait and wait and wait (Yes Custom Mod takes time).....but wait until when without knowing the progress?

Then I also understand and respect him as 1st modder doing that whatever mod he's working on. But let's go through the part I've highlighted in red, shall we? Of course, whenever we're obsessed with something, we want to make it perfect, and to make something perfect, enough times is needed, am I right? So, we're back to my post before, since he need times to do ONE PSP, and he's already done some (or maybe alot) of them, he should already know, how long it's gonna take to mod one, and accumulated times needed if there's a batch, and there's no need to be greedy SOB. When problem like this arise, it's just showed that IF he's going to finish all of it, it's gonna be a messy work. Do your math. Lots of PSPs / little time (due to miscalculation or greed) = bad output. If he was "experimenting" on the new mod, he can always do it with his own 5 PSPs since he couldn't estimate times needed to complete them, not on customer's PSP.

Seriously, get your brain ticking first, before making mine tick, I already made mine ticking the moment I saw this thread and understand the whole situation. Btw, wetfusion has posted update on his blog, and as a friendly reminder, even though there's no one in Malaysia know about the mod you're doing, just let them know what the problem is that you're delaying their stuff. No internet at home? With your RM18K, take RM2 for one hour cybercafe use. If you've done that in the first place, none of these will ever happened.

You know the best what you are trying to imply. I am an electronic engineer, not a lawyer. I don't have the glib of a tongue to twist words around. Engineers go by facts and figures. But someone seems to take other people's comments and twist it around like anything.

Fox, like I mention before in the custom mod thread there is milestones in every project. Since wet accepted my mod, he should let me know the project timeline and set up his milestones to complete up my mod. If there is any delay occur, he should have inform me instead of being a silencer. Patience is a virtue but if I don’t get any response and keep on waiting, I think that’s call fool.

Update*

There were a few questions I need to solve out with wet:-

1st the slim nub that I sent up along with my psp is brand-new, bought from laohor, s’pore and tested on his psp which working perfectly. Since you declare that the slim nub is not working, why don’t you feedback to me earlier in the progress of dual nub mod. What you did is putting in a fat nub without my concerns, you could have spare some time to inform me, don’t you?

2nd you quoted the price for the dual nub mod and all the while you didn’t mention to me about the costing for the whole progress. You are the modder, you should let me know your condition and the difficulties you faced and how much more I needed to top up for you in order to make the deal reasonable.

3rd all the while you have claimed that my psp is COMPLETELY modded. But now you telling me there is missing metal cage and the elasticity is not there. And you sent the INCOMPLETE psp to me twice without letting me know there are problems with my modded psp. Is this the attitude of a ‘soon to be’ businessman should have?

TS, just wondering one question. Have you notify the person you raise dispute to step up and clarify everything in this thread? It's four pages now and there's no single post of his.

wetfusion rather post up things on his blog than here, which wetfusion himself only can answer. TS is here, not on his blog, so why not post here?

Whatever it is, I request for wetfusion to reply here. Failure to do so in 3 days will result a dispute tag on him and his sales thread will be closed, despite he is actively online here.

I understand the heavy tasks for this modification thingy but as a responsible modder or trader, wetfusion should not put the total blame on Pos Malaysia, even if it is their mistake. I have been a trader for years, only use Poslaju as my courier service but so far it has never fails even once. Still, I won't have doubt if it happens to this case. Seriously the tracking number doesn't exist means something is very wrong here. Since it is at the seller's location, it is his responsibility to check out the status and etc.

As for the high piling modding jobs, if you can't handle all then don't accept anymore new job offers. If you choose to do your trading via online based service, please make sure you find a way to online frequently to update your customers' status.

Now more questions need to be answered by wetfusion,
when i check the photo uploaded by wetfusion,i found that inside EXIF (dont know? here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_image_file_format ),wetfusion actually start to mod joker's psp yesterday afternoon,27-5-2009
again,yes,is 27-5-2009,and it was finished at 7:25pm like that.

good find there,i hope Wetfusion will clear this issue again because im always support & follows all Wetfusion custom mod before.

High technology contributes a lot. Then one thing can be prove is the tracking number given to TS is fake and not the post office fault as well. This is no longer an assumption then.

Whatever...i contacted wet, he said he will reply soon. Just wait..he don't know this thread existed when he online 2 days ago.

Another thing that puzzled me is, wet can own 5 psp as what he mentioned in his blog but he cannot get himself a handphone that works properly....

You still need to touch the phone to read and reply sms right? My advice to you is, don't mix work with personal issues.

finally you are here. i got that ic sms on 27th May 2.41 am and i did send you smses on 28th and 29th but all fail to delivered.
Also, as what a forumer using EXIFF to prove that the actual date you start modding my psp is on 27th May.
This can heavily PROVE that the tracking no. you given to me is fake and you didn't sent my psp as well.

no1) yup it work perfectly, no doubt, what i mean is not 'its not working'. the upper part of the nub cant be fitted in the psp faceplate, i have to use the fat psp nub, its more suitable, order the stuff takes 2 weeks, i order 2 of them. i will get some pics so you guys know why i have to use the fat nub.. all of these stuff are actually my 1st time doing it, or should is say the 1st time in south east asia doing it. im doing something even sony's engineer dont have time to do.

2nd) this question also related to the no1st question.

the dual nub consist of several parts that all have their own uses. understand it is not an ez task. as small as it looks, it have the same operation as an touch screen. small but the complexity are hard too understand i assure you.

Wet, just one thing need to ask is are u given a fake tracking number to joker and didnt posted his psp when u said u already posted. Are you just start up his mod on 27 may? If yes i think you have to apologize.
