How about we take a break? Like for a month?

It's tiring babysitting or posting updates.

Also, I think about 50% of the original signees went AWOL.

1. Weight = 64.2kg. Reduced from 65.0kg (initial target 62kg), & no weight loss for near 2 weeks.
2. Waist = 82cm. Reduced from 86cm (initial target 84cm)
3. BF = 17.6%. Reduced from 20.8% (initial target (19.2%)

So that's it ladies & gentlemen, despite target weight underachieved, i still happy to see the 82cm + 17.6% marks rclxm9.gif .. but I might not joining any fatsos challenge in July+Aug as nearby gym close for renovation sad.gif
Till then, tanx a lot, n gudluck 4all!

May I suggest that we start a permanent fat loss thread challenge?

Although I have not participated in the weight loss project...I've gained probably 2KG...God knows if its muscle mass or fats but jeans is still damn loose but tshirt getting slightly tighter.

What I can do is reduce my body fat % as my challenge.

1st measurement - 21.1%
2nd measurement 19.5%

I will measure at the end of the month smile.gif

Life is a permanent challenge! tongue.gif I dont think we need another one cause the one we hv now is stressful enough.

Short challenges are fun. I didnt hit my speed target tho... will be back to training after recovering biggrin.gif

Switched back to normal routine, there was a 10% or more strength drop. I hope to see it return to normal in 2 weeks time.

Incorporated 30 mins light jogging after weights session but seems to take a toll on my stamina. Hopefully, my body can adapt to this soon.

When I made the comment about taking a break, just thinking it may be a good idea to recharge, not take a break from good habits!!

!!!

From the last 2 challenges, I see about 50% of the people not responding which is indicating that :
-they got scared when ask to set goals
-they fell off the bandwagon and don't want to get back on
-they join following the herd instinct

kianweic : there's already a fatloss thread where ppl can ask questions. This thread was more for supportting ppl having a common goal.

Added on July 3, 2009, 9:36 amThinking out loud a bit. How to make the challenge interesting. Keeping to new lifestyle that restricts intake of certain foods or doing more exercise is never going to be easy.

Thats why I encourange everyone to participate in runs.. It's fun, cheap, easy and motivates you towards a tangible goal.

There are 3.5k, 5k, 7k, 10k, 12k, 15k, 21k, 30k, 42k runs in kl that u can participate it.
