lol....tengok dulu....

as said lo....i m hoping digi can do well enof in integrating the 3G network, and start to expand it...
then compete head to head with Celcom 3G and Maxis 3G
i sincerely believe they can offer competitive pricing if they can...

also iPhone exclusivity is ending...
who knows Digi can secure a contract with apple on next iphone and offer a better-than-maxis package? *cross finger*

@dinozilla,
Unless U happen to work with Maxis or Apple, how would U know the iPhone exclusivity is ending here in MY? Also, even if it's not something on contract, the other telco players will want to invest in it. Honestly, I don't think DiGi will bring in the iPhone *shrugs*

Ah well..... the faster DiGi gets their infrastructure up nationwide, the sooner it can compete and the better it is for us consumers smile.gif

I have an issue here. I am using Iphone 3gs with Firmware 3.1.2 with the iValue plan 155.

I've just registered 2 days ago and received the sim card on the same day. After using the data service, I checked the unbilled ammount and it was RM129. after that, I check the usage in my Iphone and its just 68mb within these 2 days. Can anyone tell me is the RM129 is included in the 1gb free data service for the iValue plan 155 or is my phone going nuts as I have not use up to 1gb data yet =.=

Any help?

It will be calculated base on usage and at the end of the billing cycle it will then be deducted from your data allowance. The data calculation is based on the total amount of upload and download. Is your 68mb data inclusive of upload too? If it is, then there is a wide margin of gap between data calculation of iPhone and that of Maxis shakehead.gif

Visit Maxis Center to seek clarification to this nod.gif Don't waste your time calling the customer care center.

Thanks.. I check and it's just the data receiv. I've called customer service and they can't do anything. I said to clarify by goin to the maxis centre but they say it's the same and ask me to wait for the bill to arrive. Sigh.

i don't understand why the telco can't simply activate the data plan together with the sim card.

may be it is a batch process and the system update in certain time only ...

for any people that not yet get the iphone with plan, once u get the phone, call the maxis CS first, verify the data plan is activated then only start use the data service ... else 1mb for RM10 is very costly and first day can reach RM100 cool2.gif

what 'steps' have you taken to deactivate the data coz disabling 3G does not mean disabling the data access. And yes, 12mb = RM120 if you are not on the data plan shocking.gif

contrary to many believes, IMs and e-mails take a very low chunk of your data allowance.

i was able to survive on blackberry's 8MB plan a month (without exceeding it) if i adhere religiously to IMs and e-mails

hence definitely not 10MB/hour; that's ludicrous

thats why tinkerbel mention before, as long as not heavy download using the phone, normal usage wont exceed the data allowed ...

Beware for maxis data plan!i subscribe for ivalue 1 which allow 500mb of free data.end of biiling date show, iphone 3gs's usage for upload and download less than 200mb.But received addtional data usage of over rm300 for over usage.2 trip to maxis center still did not solve the issue.barred my phone twice.but pay only minimum to reopen the line. This is the feedback i received from maxis service personnel-
Apple iphone's data usage meter is only 75% accurate!
