@Ken,
Yes of course u can do that. Please read through the pinned threads if you're a new user of the iPhone.

@saksoba,
I have my emails being checked 24/7, leave some IM applications switched on and do the routine internet browsing and 500MB is more than suffice. As to downloading apps from apple store, if the app is bigger than 10MB it won't be downloadable via the iPhone and most of the time, in order not to go beyond my limit, I leave those downloads for when i'm on wifi and not 3G.

guys,

just a few question here. sorry if the question irritated you.

im planning to subscribe the 500MB / month for the data.
does it really enough 500MB for emails and FB?
estimate how much it take per day?
after calculate, roughly we can use 16MB per day, izit enuff?

i just scared it will caused overbilling issues since so many user had complain and faced the problems.

help me clarify please..
much appreciated. thank you

As per tinkerbell said, it should be enough. Except, if u do tethering, i dont think 500mb is enough for u.

IMHO, if u surf the net and there is available wifi near u, iphone will ask 1st. a popup will appear show available wifi n ask u to connect either one.

cool. They will block your line 1st, unless you pay up. It will remain blocked, until they finished checking every damn thing which they actually have no way of checking.

what's the usage shown on your phone btw ?

The 333 minutes is not a free talk time between Maxis to Maxis. It is an estimated amount of time that is applicable under Ivalue Plan 1 based on the 15 cents/min rate and at the quota of RM50-50 for calls and data. The talk-time is not limited to calls made to Maxis only, you can make calls to Digi and Celcom and still being charged at 15 cents/minute.

However, do take note that SMS to other network providers will be charged on top of your RM100 commitment fee. smile.gif
