I got another analogy if any of your guy wanna complain to MCMC.

Selling petrol at RM2/liter for 10 liter. No meter provided. You needs to fill in urself, there will be a beep when you fill-up 9 liter. For every 0.001 liter extra you will be charged for RM5.. Something like that..

My complain to MCMC got respond from Maxis. But the just said wanna forward the 'feedback' to business team. I will keep push to MCMC what Maxis do is unfair to consumer if not illegal.

Yes! we should all start a signature campaign and forward it to MCMC and see what Maxis have to say... vmad.gif

On Maxis Broadband you can login to your account and check your current data usage.

I do not understand why can't Maxis apply the same thing to our Data plans mad.gif

It's like they are just taking advantage of the situation by barring the line and making users pay to un-bar. Only when your bill arrives you will know your data usage.

since so many ppl felt dissatisfied about maxis data plan
why dont some1 of u write a letter and posted here and we all email to mcmc to complain.

u can see it on ur previous bill...but u need to activated the Itemised Billing...u can called maxis center for more info...i just got mine for last month bill and i have exceeded my 3GB quota...i overused 50mb and they have wave the chargers....i only apply it for mobile internet RM88 3GB montly..

maxis should be more open with us...and the most importantly be honest to their customers....

Same case when iPhone first came out. 2g. I kena also. Now u better check what date is your billing cycle and check properly. Maxis sucks for not warning thus to customers because many have kena this before.

last time when i first buy iphone3gs without contract, after 2 day i feel tak betul, iphone simply data roaming this n that, ppl simply press my phone then charge again then i check at my data usage around 10mb for 2 day ready then i straight away call 123 to close my internet connection. in that call she promised. after 1month my bill come n charge me rm250 for internet connection i was like f... then call 123 again n argue with them.
me: hey. i already cut the internet connection how come u still charge me rm250?
cs:hmm...about this cases did u still using ur iphone to browse web or dl anything?
me: of course, but all the while i was using wifi connection.
cs: maybe the wifi drop then start using 3g connection.
me: huh i not going to pay even single cent of that, did ur system show that i already call up for cut or close my internet connection? cause i already know the problem is there.
cs: ya, we recei ur call at XXdate that time u only request us to close 3g connection.
me: huh, just explain me what is 3g connection?
cs: 3g connection is just a faster way to get into ur browser. u only request us to cut 3g connection.
me: i can't endure anymore, n i talk loud to them. please listen back to the call since there is recorder, i already said i want cut all the internet connection to avoid maxis charge me kao kao n i double or triple confirm is it i cannot connect to the internet since u cut me?
cs: yes. alright. (that time)
cs: about this ok. i will send report to my manager n will give u feedback in 7 working days.
me: okay.

after 2week not even maxis customer service call me.
n that time i call 123 again n ask them how how how?
there tell me still processing. i say ok since u like to take so long time to process then pls dont cut my line due to u need so many to process n i dont know how to make payment n i also need to process to make payment. the cs: only diam awhile. then ask me to hold for while.
i hold the phone around 5min, then the cs said. Mr. my manager promise will deduct the rm250 from ur phone bill. so u just need to make payment without the rm250. n i wanna inform u 2more days we will cut ur line if u didnt make payment. after that i make payment without the rm250 but then i check at *100*7*1*1# but still havent deduct. after 2 weeks time i call n f kao kao then finally there deduct from system.

i only can advise u guys just f them kao kao if u think u r right.
because we r the consumer. ^ ^

Is this updated hourly or daily or only for last bill?

Please confirm and if can provide the screen shot. I wanna forward it to MCMC.

So far I monitor my data usage still very minimal, haven't call and check my unbilled amount. I think I would just wait for the bill to arrive.

Signed up for ivalue2 thought gonna use alot cause on my broandband two days already more than 3gb, now my mobile data usage maximum also 10mb per day only if use maps. If not using map only surf and Facebook sure less than 10mb.

Only download apps on wifi

Maxis has promised to call me back within 3 working days after their findings but i have not receive any call yet from them!

They have been pampered by the Papa that is how their attitude now!

reading all the maxis billing grouses, guess i'll just get a new line with digi rather than endure the nonsense from maxis customer service... on maxis post-paid since 95 and still am but not yet an iphone user.

I was with Maxis for manyyyyy years. They were tops then in terms of reliability and quality but $$$$$. Then there was not much option except Celcom and Digi was using the 1800hz system.
I just changed to Digi - better value.

Forgive me to say this MCMC, maxis got bill shock is due to MCMC allow them to
MCMC sure get some benefit from Maxis ( i not saying kopi $$$)
This issue happen with maxis when they launch the Iphone 3 already
since 2008 still cannot resolve, and MCMC accept this explain from maxis ?
Maxis always say will do something, but infact they try to do something (with some delay 1-2 years)
each people over the Internet usage will charge RM250(simply 25MB data), that is the big benefit for maxis to delay to react
After Digi have the RM150 over data usage charge for 2 month they already been change to no charges

Now my case is:

Maxis charged me 4 days (24-27/09/10) of data usage since the day i signed up ivalue2 (24/09/10) but they gave me 2 days of rebate only. WTF! mad.gif
