I was told that "If want to use a different ISP than Streamyx, forget it." Its as if Streamyx is the best ISP there is in the country and what we're getting is the best.

But damn... WTH... unbelievable folks. Today I called them, had to wait for 20 freakin minutes to get technical assistance. Everytime my area they have to reset port. Gosh... so frustrated.

Pay for 1Mbps but feels like 56k days again.

Everyone just stop paying ur telekom bills and cancel ur lines just stick to 3G or whatever else you can get. Call from ur cell not your house line. Businesses can think otherwise. :S We'll happily watch TMNut choke and die.

TMNut will NOT survive with only national backing. Heck if we might go into a recession quicker just because of people like them.

Neither is there any undersea cable problem to begin with nor connection to restore with.
Been 20th april and 3 days pass ,they have yet to carry out with their promise.
Bad lag usually occur in the afternoon till 3am midnite towards oversea.
The T&C has recently been ammended recently just to provide preventive measurements towards the company financial assesment.
With the new clauses added, tmnut users would not be able to make rebates regarding oversea bad connection.
For every one to two mths, users will usually experience connection issues towards oversea.
It's too obvious tmnut have oversold their bandwidth. Unable to upgrade their current badwidth due to tmnut's heavy debts they just add in that new clause.
I've decided to end my contract with tmnut and pickup other isp. It doesnt really matter what speed they have since it doesnt make much diff anyway with all the junk speed all our country's isp can provide.

my area in seremban..everyday exactly 12.30 am i will lose my connection..dsl all still on but there will be no internet connection..have to reset modem..its been going on for 4 days already..

Torrents are fluctuating, some sites are slow or don't load still, http downloads vary - either they work well or they just die halfway.

I am not sure why people seem to be surprised that things are still not back to normal speeds. Yes, there was a circuit fault from around 1 Apr - 17 Apr which made things worse. But don't you realise that things were bad before that? So it went from bad to worse and now is back to bad. Did you really think that after 17 Apr everything was going to be good?

Only the circuit fault problem was fixed. The good/bad IP and routing problem which has existed for the past few months has not been fixed. So you are back to having bad connections.
