This issue needs 'orang-atas' attention...we can only mail them but still if none action is taken, leads to nowhere...
I have suggested this 2-3 times here before. But no one posted back whether they even tried this or what was the result. I will suggest again. Call the TM HQ. See below for details.
There is little use complaining here. TM is not following this thread. TM is not going to do anything due to the complaints here. You can email the media, you can email MCMC etc. Do you really think each time they get a complaint email they are going to find out from TM what is going on? Even if there is a chance they do, TM will just give them some excuse which will sound ok to them, and you cannot verify or dispute the excuse. How many of you who emailed such complaints have got useful replies? Has the problem been solved?
When you have a problem with a company, you should work on complaining to the company first, especially the management. . As we know, complaining to 100 is not producing any results. Because they cannot do anything about it. You need to get to higher ups in TM. So call the TM HQ general line. Ask for the "Streamyx Complaints Department".
Find out who you are speaking with. Get an direct phone no or extension if you can. Politely tell them your problem. Write down all details before you call them so you have all the facts and figures. Tell them which area you are located at. Tell them about your problems with IPs and routings. Tell them the lack of any announcements or responses from TM. Tell them how long this has been going on. Tell them how many times you have called 100 with no results. Tell them the ridiculous things 100 tells you. Tell them this is nothing to do with your modem or line, its on TM side which many users are facing. Tell them Streamyx users are looking at other broadband alternatives due to these problems.
Ask them whether they are aware of what users are facing. Ask them whether they got any such complaints before. Ask them whether the media has contacted them as users have emailed the media about this. Ask them whether MCMC has called them about this as users have emailed MCMC about this. Ask them who else you can speak to, a manager / management etc.
Post back here what responses you get.
They should internally get in touch with technical people (not 100) and you may get a call from them. At least try it and see. If many people call, something may be done. What do you have to lose? It may cost a bit to make the call, but you are losing more paying for Streamyx monthly and not getting a good service. It may take up some of your time getting through and explaining, but see how much time we are all wasting posting complaints and test results here for so many weeks? Surely, we all have better things to do with our time.
Please post back here for result comparison. Let's see if after say 10 people call, they tell the 11th person that nobody has made such a complaint. Let's see how honest they are and whether they do something. Let's see if they admit there is a problem. Let's see if they say they are upgrading the infrastructure and how long it will take. If nothing else, we may get different bits of info from each person calling. Someone may get to speak to a technical person who can give more useful info than from 100.
So, give it a try, make the call (during office hours) to TM HQ. Here's the phone number (available to public) from 103 operator:
TM HQ, Jalan Pantai, KL)
03-2240 9494
Ask for Streamyx Complaints Department.
Good luck. Please post back here after your call.
