yea, 8GB used to be that price.
but at that time, most laptops are fitted with 2GB.
and it was the time of DDR2
even a 240GB SSD 500mb/s read and write only cost RM1300

It's not only their RAM, go check their HDD and SSD you will vomit blood. Some SSD cost more than a Mac.

True, but the the HDD as an example, got custom Apple firmware and Apple logo on its label. Where can get something like this outside? :-)

what does the firmware do?
any significant difference if you compare to the normal HDD without apple firmware?
