hi all... after much considerations i have decided to take ACCA part time while i study for a bachelor's degree in economics. i understand it will never be easy... but i think i should give it a try and see how i fare.
but, i have no idea where to start with? is there any forummers here taking ACCA tuition in JB area? as far as i know there are only 2 colleges giving ACCA tutition in JB, which are Cresendo and sunway... are they good? as i never heard any comments regarding to them. would it be more advisable if i am to take ACCA tuition in singapore?
i have checked fees in Cresendo college (JB) are around RM17K (including exam fees).
http://www.crescendo.edu.my/Course%20Fees-2009.pdfwhile per course fee in Kaplan (sg) is around S$400 (not sure whether exam fee is included.. any kind soul can help me check up? posted the link

)
http://kaplan.com.sg/pqcoursedetail.aspx?i...38-eeda7ef4420aok.. lets assume i take ACCA in Cresendo.. so the whole course fees are RM17K... so thats it? no more additional charges? i read i have to purchase docket (whats that?

) and exam kit? how much will they cost?
moreover, i will be joining the january intake next year (i guess its too late for me to join july intake this year). can i purchase ACCA text books and study on my own first? when can i get them?
thanks all in advance!
Taking ACCA & degree together, I really expect your determination.
Not only both are separate & different but I think ACCA is tougher in some way so thats quite a problem since you will spend less time on a more difficult subject. When there is exam, you will have problems to allocate time efficiently too.
I dont know how efficient JB centres can cater to students but most of the text books & revision kits will be supplied by college. Exam docket will be sent to you by the acca body rougly within 1 month before exam date. You only have to pay :
To ACCA : Annual fees, exam fees, registration fees (1st time).
To the college : Tuition fees, library fees, .......etc.
I think there is another college at JB which teach ACCA, Citipro.
I think Singapore will have more better options for you to select lecturers.
