No need at all. If you have luggage, the counter staff will print your tickets for you as well.

i booked and paid for MAS flight ticket from KUL to adelaide this 3rd of march thru internet booking..

as y'all knw MAS were having promotion travelling to australia back in dec-jan.. so i grabbed this opportunity asap la of course.. im not going there fun, but study..

unfortunately, the moment i got the offer letter and study plan from my uni over there.. i decided not to go because i have to stay 1 more semester there, something which is out of my expectation...

i wanted to transfer to aussie because the subjects offered here are not relevant to my major.. who knws when i got the study plan from my aussie uni telling me that i need to complete the following 4 subjects in order to complete my degree and bla bla bla...... ok stop...

can i actually get a refund from MAS if i going to cancel my flight to adelaide?

read the T&C, some promotion packages don't have refund clauses, perhaps you can try to postpone the flight instead OR request for a name changes ie to sell it to someone else

Check your t&c on your ticket. Sorry to say but for promo fare it's very likely no refunds are allowed.

I'm looking at MAS flight Delhi - Melbourne, which included a transit at KL

If I'm not able to make it to Delhi, can I take only KL-MEL which is exactly the transit flight in the booking? just let the DEL-KL burn

missed out the recent mas promo as I was still hesitating whether to go to europe for my honeymoon in april/may. Now that I've decided, price shot up back to 3.6k return. Checked online that matta fair is in march, u guys think I should wait till then hoping that mas will do another promo? my intended date of visit would be mid april-early may.

In this case I think even if no check in luggage the answer is also no. If kalichap wanna take Del - KL and get off halfway, no luggage then still can. But he wants to take the 2nd leg of the flight only ... I'm fairly certain when he no show at Delhi they will cancel his KL-Melbourne leg as well.

You have to postpone your flight for a penalty of rm200 and top up he fare difference. Even the basic tickets for mas does not allow for refunds unless it's the flexible ticket.

the layover is 23hrs thats the reason im considering the booking. there is a shorter transit option but since i got a stop in kl, why dont make it longer right, with that amount of time i can meet my family and possibly do some stuff too
but then problem comes that i might not leaving from delhi..

tried calling mas to check but as usual, operators are busy

wait for MATTA fair this March guys.. i bought KL-LHR, AMS-KL (multiple destination MAS this April) for RM2152 online during MATTA fair last september.

Normally Matta fair most likely offer for package, but not only air ticket right??

yeps. but usually MAS will have online promotion on their website during the MATTA fair period. So if you guys are looking for the ticket only, can buy it online. But if you guys prefer packages, can go to MATTA fair.

In general, full fare airlines SOP is if you miss the very first leg of any journey, the airlines will cancel everything else (yes, even including the return flight). So your flight if you don't turn up at Delhi it's likely everything else will be cancelled. You can continue trying to contact MAS for their own particular policy but I wouldn't put my hopes up.
