My suggestion is to try to chk in from BKI for your BKI/DXB sector. You do web chk in first and get your KUL/DXB boarding pass verify at BKI airport because I don't think BKI airport can issue boarding pass depart from KLIA.

Hi,

I realized i got mixed up with BKI and BKK. sorry. it's BKI and not BKK.

My flight arrival from BKI is using firefly on 21 October 1240am.
My departure to DXB is using MAS. My international flight is at 200pm the same day I arrive.

Will it also apply if i'm using Firefly at BKI and can ask them to check in for my international flight to DXB at BKI?

Sorry, was bit mixed up with BKK and BKI.

Regards

If the ticket was issued all the way by the same airline/travel agent (if they code share - means the journey itself is in 1 ticket rather than 2 tickets) then you can check in all the way.

You could probably try calling up MAS or go to the nearest MAS outlet to check out what you can do since you are arriving quite late into KLIA.

The first ticket to KUL is issued by Firefly.
The second ticket to DXB is issued by MAS.

However if there's self check in kiosk at BKI airport, i can give a try to check in since it's within 48 hours from the time of departure.

BKI airport will not issue boarding pass for KUL/DXB sector. That is why I told u to web chk in and get your boarding pass verify at BKI airport incase you couldn't get it verify in KLIA.

Hey guys! I would like to share my recent experience with MAS

So I brought over my Camera gear to Australia flew on a A330 if i am not mistaken.

Basically my camera bag's dimension was bigger than the allowed dimension and my cameras equipment are around 12kg..

What I did was I brought two bags along.. 1 backpack(the bigger one) and a sling back.. Both are camera bags and distributed the weight.. She asked me what was in the bag and I answered her honestly and she let me through althou the sling bag I left it under my chair as promised!

Thank God the backpack can be fitted in the cabin, among all the flights I took Airasia, Tiger and MAS, I felt mas cabin is the smallest.

Hope this information can be beneficial to all smile.gif

The weirdest thing about Econ class ticket is that the gap between the most inflexible Econ ticket and the most flexible can be in the thousands. You probably pay 3000 plus for the most inflexible Econ in Mas but the most flexible can cost 8000 plus for a flt to london. There are at least five different classes of economy. Of course you can change your flight as many time as you like for free on the most flexible Econ and the least flexible cannot be changed at any price. However, you have to refer to the class of your ticket and the conditions. It all comes down to how much you paid. The higher the class the less penalty you pay

my parents went travel to china with MAS. They arrive on last fri but their luggage were left behind because of MAS staff careless, so now they have to wait two days to reclaim back their belongings. i wondering can they actually claim back money from MAS due to this incident?

They should have asked for it before they left Capital Airport in Beijing. Most of the airlines exept LCCs will give you some money if your bag fails to arrive after everyone has claimed their bags.
