I can't wait for the new mbp to come out. just bought my mbp from ebay. sigh. it seems to be the stupidest choice since it's supposed to be updated now. but i need to get one now. too bad.

I am predicting speed bump and bigger hd this month for mbp.

For mba, could have cosmetic changes with trackpad and ram increased to 4gb.

hi planning to buy a macbook soon but budget is around 4k or less.. my question is the macbook white and macbook pro seems to have a same spec only difference is the pro has illuminated keyboard ...

but the price for the pro is around rm800 expensiver.. planning to get white .. i heard the white casing is plastic very easy to broke , any comment ? which one should i go for ?

I am a macbook white user. So far no problem. Its just that the MBW can only support up to 4gb ram but I think thats enough already. About the durability...again its a macbook not a Dell ATG or what...

im using MBP 13". honestly...i think the new unibody macbook white is much better looking....specs are same aside from the illuminated keyboard, sd slot, firewire. I think they also came with bigger hdd size....

i would prefer macbook pro, but for budget point of view i would also take macbook white

If you can find MBA for less than 4000 Id advise you go for that. You wont be sorry.

that's because Msians dont earn that much to support luxurious products. MBA is like a Rolls Royce to a MBP as a Beemer. U pay more for the a slower car. but the thinovation. I see alot of MBAs in international airport. we are just some poor basterds. XD

none of us would know if anything gets n upgraded n when. rumours are rumours. but so far the MBW didnt have any upgrades since launch. a speedbump is imminent of course...juz that we dunno when or what

Hi I just wonder is 13" mac book pro can run adobe primier, after effect & final cut pro ?

i saw a stock clearance @ the switch just now.
they are selling of the time capsule 2tb for the price of 1599 (the actual price is 1899).
it is totally a very good price.
i just wanna get some opinion regarding time capsule since some of the users did complaint after using time capsule..any sifus out there had experince using one before?
im thinking of buying tomorrow

Well, here's the case. I have about RM 2000, and I'm intending to sell my Macbook for 2k this weekend, which ends up with 4k.
With that money, I can get the Macbook Pro with nVidia 8600M GT for 4K, using all my money.
OR, I can get MBP with X1600 + an iPod Touch 64GB.
Can't choose between two. Oh, btw, I'm not gonna use Macbook after 2 years, and I'm intending to sell it off to get a gaming lap/pc.
Which one should I choose? Any suggestion?

which MacBook Pro comes with x1600?
personally, I would get the nVidia 8600, but I am biased, cos I'm using it now

the MBP w/ 8600 is a laptop, so you can expect to replace the battery cos it will not last 5 hours after using it for 2 years anyway.

keep the money to get a custom build desktop rig or a gaming laptop like toshiba qosmio, then add on a nice 5.1 audio system.....

those are already enough to send the macbook and ipod touch to graveyard....



ps: school nowadays require macbook???
