TS i suggest u get the one crazyee recommended. for now the latest macbook and 13" MBP have the same spec. even if new MBP comes out, i doubt the current 13" will fetch below rm3.5k, and a new macbook seems unlikely since it's still new.
since u're new to mac, u dont think u have any firewire devices anyway. SD slot can juz use generic card reader. plus it's only rm300 more expensive than the one promoted at machines for a much better designed notebook. |

Hi all Imac (late 2009) users,
I would like to ask is it very big different between i5 processor and i7 processor in the imac? Erm, my purpose for this Imac is more to photo editing. And is it worth it to get i7 straight which need to top up RM6xx from i5... thank you ^^ |

Hi, im planning to make my first apple notebook purchase. Im currently deciding between these two models, 13' 2.26ghz Macbook and 13' 2.26ghz Macbook Pro.
According to reviews, the MB performs tasks faster but the MBP produces a higher framerate in games. Everything about the MB and MBP is about the same. So i would like to hear from users of these products themself, is it really worth paying RM900 extra for the MBP? |

Don't forget, the MBP also has a much nicer LED screen, which to me makes colors really "pop" out compared to the WhiteBook.

if you are getting MBP for gaming big mistake Apple computers are never good for gaming , don't get me wrong they can do gaming but they are not that good at it.
before you make your decision i recommend that you check out the new Dell XPS studio with core i7 cpu , and it is almost the same price but you get huge performance from that thing and much better graphic performance. |

If you really compare side by side, you will the screen brightness differences. I personally done that before I decided on MBP.

QUOTE(JasonMania @ Jan 28 2010, 12:23 PM) if you are getting MBP for gaming big mistake Apple computers are never good for gaming , don't get me wrong they can do gaming but they are not that good at it. uhm i always wonder why when someone mentioned gaming, another will straightaway say go for PC, as if the computer is ONLY used for gaming. sure PCs are better at gaming, but there's nothing wrong with playing games on a mac. im pretty sure when someone ask about gaming on Mac, they just want to know how good will it be. if they're considering a mac in the 1st place, then what they want is OSX, the good hardware (as in the computer build and features, not components), but juz dont want to miss out on games. which they wont have to.before you make your decision i recommend that you check out the new Dell XPS studio with core i7 cpu , and it is almost the same price but you get huge performance from that thing and much better graphic performance. that being said, altecphoto i suggest u to get the MBP if that's not much of a problem. if u're curious about gaming, juz look for benchmarks on the 9400M, simple QUOTE(Jing-leBelle @ Jan 28 2010, 12:25 PM) Depends on ur usage on HDMI, SD Card (U can oweys use card reader) , Alu body (wat's the diff?).
