try to read up the info and guide at iClarified... it does provide details and step by step information already.
Try out and see... it's quite difficult for us to know whether it is correct or not on the steps you have done.

try and explore.... if unsuccessful, then try again until you got it. You won't lose anything by the way, isn't it ?

did you lose your data when you update? =)

I personally found it pretty much faster than FW 2.1
Like returning to Home Screen, very much faster.
Loading Contacts is very fast...

Not sure before this whether cos of JB + 3rd party Apps.
Overall, I feel good with it rclxms.gif

After putting it through its paces, at the moment, 2.2 feels much faster. I had none of those sloth-like lagginess when typing a response via Safari on the virtual keyboard. Perhaps this is because it is new, and things may change once I filled more of the browser cache/history going on, but for now, it is fast. No SMS lag whatsoever too, but that also could be attributed to my Celcom 3G behaving nicely without line dropping. My suspicion on the SMS lag is due to the line drops while in 3G network.

A nice addition is to having the ability to click the Home button and return the page to the first page, when you have swiped to other pages of apps. Handy, and avoided the need to have to swipe 6 or 7 pages to go to the first page, just simply press the Home button.

Street View, as predicted, takes a little bit more time caching the 360 degrees view of the drop pins, while on 3G. Otherwise, works as how it was on Wifi.

Though, still hope Apple will fix the "showing number" instead of name issue, and also add in Malaysia as Country in Contact.

I wonder if using iPhone 3G overseas with overseas contacts number, when calling it shows Name or Number ? hmm.gif

Does that has something to do with Region in iPhone Firmware ?

Just found out, you're not limited to preset drop pins, you can create your own drop pin, drop them anywhere, and look for that StreetView icon. If it is not greyed out, that means Street View is available at that position you have dropped a pin onto.

For example, look around Disneyland Anaheim California. Drop a pin on any of the main roads, marked by a solid yellow line, and your new drop pin becomes your Street View point. Tap the Street View icon, and start travelling away!

Some roads are smaller, and not traversed by the Street View car, hence no Street View available. You'll get a better chance sticking to the larger avenues, highways and boulevards.
