Need help here from sifus. Just got my Iphone 3G from states 3 days ago. It is locked and use some sort turbo sim (Gevey 3G) to unlock. I can make/received calls and sms without problems, but I cant sync with Itunes or my computer. It just says that" The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appeared to be supported". I have Version 2.1 installed if I'm not mistaken. I have download the QuickPwn21-1 but it is still unable to settle this problem. Please help. cry.gif

yep....2.1+cydia better than 2.2 alone. You know what i mean. There's more important apps in cydia than street view.

@nokia

Yep, it safe to upgrade for 1st Gen (JB will gone la). Bcoz new fw for 1st Gen don't upgrade the baseband (apple dont bother bout this model anymore). While for 2nd Gen, it will upgrade the baseband, therefore, all aifontriji that using sim proxy (locked unit) must not upgrade until Dev team come out with solution. For official unlock, wth.....muahahahah you can upgrade anytime you want.....muahahahaha......

Those on a Mac, you can try using Handbrake 0.93. The new version includes support for WMV as well. I love Handbrake because it has presets for all different video compressions you need for different devices. Want to create an Apple TV compatible movie, at the best resolution/bitrate? Easy! Just click the corresponding preset and click Start! If you want further control over the bitrates, or muxing of the audio to pseudo-surround formats like Dolby Pro Logic II, Handbrake provides that too.

If you're willing to go one step further, tag your movies with MetaX. That way, when you see your movies in iTunes, it comes pretty with artwork and all, especially in the Grid viewing mode.

Both Handbrake and MetaX are free.

correct...correct.....correct.....Handbrake very fast and good quality. Now ripp all my dvd to apple tv.....muahahahahha
