As you guys probably already know, Google Maps Street View is going to be included in the upcoming FW2.2. My friend and I were just comparing the GPS capabilities of my iPhone and his Nokia N96. Of course his map is very impressive with the Nokia Maps software but I drew out my trump card and showed him what my phone can do.

Of course, the bad news is Malaysia's Street View will be quite a long time off from now unfortunately. When Google are you going to send your Street View Car to our country??

Wow upgraded to 2.2 wow! Excited too wow!

To each his own, the few of us who are excited about 2.2 more than Cydia, kept out opinions to ourselves, as our sign of respect and not to kill your joy, when you had your party on all things Cydia.  At the very least, have the decency to return that favour. I certainly kept my opinions to myself to not stir the pot, but if someone else is stirring it, don't blame me if I stir back. Friendly advice before things gets any hairier. You know who you are.

Yes it is but that's not the main function of a baseband upgrade. It's just a by product from updating the baseband as the 'hacked' baseband been replaced by a new one hence the need to unlock the baseband again. It would be a waste of time and resources for Apple to upgrade the baseband just to outrun unlockers.
