I'm one of the Dell 2007wfp user here..
the 2007wfp is non-reflective types... just like normal lcd screen...
But you won't regret after u brought this LCD...
This dell 2007wfp is the best LCD panel.... rclxm9.gif
It a S-IPS panel and not those TN panel in the market...

Is it now still can get any S-IPS panel or better panel LCD in market?

Hi,
The best for this moment.
http://h20331.www2.hp.com/hpsub/cache/5968...-0-225-121.html

S-IPS is still a step back than H-IPS you can find in Malaysia market.

Juz checked Dell website this morning and ohmy.gif shocking.gif The price of Ultrasharp 2709W now only RM2299. If i not mistaken, 2 days ago the price was RM2699... Hmm.. Should i wait a bit longer for more reduce price or maybe the price of 3008wfp oso will be reduced within the nex 2-3 week?? hmm.gif Read from several forum that the price of 3008wfp is decreasing. Rumours said Dell will come out a new model of 30" monitor. Dunno true or not.. If the trend continues, i.e the lower the price goes plus 3 years warranty, it's gonna kill those ARB market for sure. sweat.gif

I been using almost 3 years and RMA for twice....
Good service for Dell... exchange basic!
When 2nd time RMA, the dell replaced the new 2009wfp and after used for few days,
i call back the dell and request to change back to my current 2007wfp...
Bcos the 2009wfp is TN panel and is not good to watch movie and color is not as nice as my 2007wfp...
So, Dell again change back 2007wfp to me....

Wow, many compliments of Dell Service. So good.

Did anyone see the BIGGEST Non-WideScreen Monitor ? Please let me know.

At least has this;
- VA or IPS Panel & above
- DVI
- Non-Reflective Screen Type.

I only know this;

Dell UltraSharp 2007FP

Please let me know others if you can find.
Thanks.

Most display card drivers (ATI/NVIDIA/Intel) allow you ro rotate the display after the phyical rotation. Unlike some manufacturers, Dell monitors do not have a switch or a vertical sensor to send the signal for software/drivers to auto-rotate the display for you...

Visually, nothing much. The only difference is the pixel structure and slightly higher contrast ratio. If you're really into IPS panel, get the one with Advanced True Wide Polarizer. It will gives you a better black level and non of the purplish hue when viewing at certain angle. NEC LCD2690WUXi for example. One of the best you can buy. Around 1.1k USD, 25.5 incher.

Hi guys, one guy selling this monitor:

LG W2242T 22" Wide TFT LCD Monitor with DVI
• Resolution: 1680 x 1050
• Pixel Pitch: 0.282 x 0.282
• Brightness: 300cd/㎡
• Contrast Ratio: 8000:1 DFC
• Viewing Angle: H:170° V:170° (CR≥5)
• Response Time: 5ms (Typical)
• Connectors: 15Pin D-Sub, DVI-D
• 3 Years Limited Warranty.
• Glossy Black Piano Frame.
• FREE DVI Cable.

It is used for half a year means warranty got 2 and a half years more. The price is only RM450. But I'm considering this with Dell UltraSharp™ 2009W 20" Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor brand new from dell is around RM480.

So comparing these 2, which is the best choice in terms of value for money?

Thank you very much in advance yea.

@xcen
For me, i would choose LG W2242T...I'd prefer bigger screen and this LG still have 2 and half year warranty left, summore 30 buck cheaper than Dell 2009W (off course it's new)...Both of them only diff in size...
