wa.. v6 already..
@Kytz

Me at first like 16:10 ratio monitor, but cant afford to buy it. so i bought Dell S2409 (16:9) and never feel regret it. trust me it awesome!!

and for those who really think 16:9 ratio will produce small font rather than 16:10, just go buy bigger monitor. dont look at 22 inch, try find 24 inch monitor and problem solve. if you still feel the font small go to properties and make system font medium. if that not solve try to use Ctrl+= or Ctrl + mouse scroll to zoom in /zoom out.

If that still canot solve than you should buy 16:10 monitor

Guys, newbie in LCD here.

Need recommendation from fellow experts here as I need a LCD. Budget around 700-800.

Main purpose of it is for my photo editing. So just wondering what to mean by contrast ratio ? Is it higher contrast ratio, the better the LCD it is ?

Anyway, hope fellow experts can enlighten my doubts. Thanks and have a nice day smile.gif
*
yes the higher the contrast ratio the better the colour, but this not apply to dynamic contrast ratio.
At your budget there are many good LCD out ther. See for yourself. go take a look at samsung product, it has very good colour. try find 16:10 ratio monitor. blush.gif

I heard the ATI will slash their price.
it will be good for us who has a big monitor, or who will buy new monitor.

I suggest you get 4870 or at least 4850, but wait for few month rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

I currently using 19" LCD (Non-Wide)

Is it worth upgrade it to 20" LCD (Non-Wide) ?

I know it's just 1 inch, anyone experience this small upgrade in size ?

I am trying to buy the Biggest Non-Wide Screen LCD Monitor available cause I don't like Widescreen.
*
seems like not worthy. it not a big jump and maybe you dun feel the diff. What i suggest you is get 16:10 monitor, although it is widescreen, it is not too narrow nod.gif

guys..im currently using a samsung T220 and im not sure if theres a problem with it..

while playing games especially football games like fifa or PES,there is quite a bit of ghosting (not sure if thats it) but the picture is not smooth especially when the ball crosses the screen..is this normal?

pictures are not sharp and smooth even with max setting and anti aliasing set to maximum..here are the details of my pc..

core 2 duo 2Ghz
2Ghz RAM
ATI HD4850
*
it should be fine if referring to your pc spec. izzit very high reso?. but i do notice PES uses a lot of graphic resources, since i need to play in low reso, compare to other games like COD4 or COH.
so IMO not ur pc spec, its the game itself hunger of graphic resources sweat.gif sweat.gif

I choose Samsung 2333SW for sake of large and good brand. maybe other forumers dat using acer lcd can justify their satisfaction in using ther monitor. me also wanna know drool.gif
