Is SH, they are having a promotion for Sharp 37' LCD, abt 2.5~2.6k if not mistaken. If going to choose LCD, my budget only can reach 37' LCD. 32' is really too small.

I notice Panasonic have 2 model of 37' LCD. One with Motion 100Hz one without. The price different is few hundred. Again, according to the Salesman, there is no different for 100Hz in LCD, which our eye can't tell the different.
In CRT yes, because I'm using Panasonic 29' CRT 100Hz Progressive Scan, that was very good result and picture quality.
I have no exprience LCD TV, can anyone clarify?

I just bought a LCD TV after many years watching CRT TV. Asstro on LCD just sux! Especially after watching a 1080p HD movie.
My advice is better you wait. Why? Cos the price of these panel will drop. And asstro is migrating to digital soon, so most properly at the end of the year you can get clearer picture as to what panel to buy. biggrin.gif
But if you can't wait and have a ready source of HD Movies and other high quality stuff, then get 42S10K.
Cheap & good. Be sure to get at least 3 yrs warranty.

hi guys, I'm very n00b in this computer thingy.
Will be buying a new rig to play games, and I'd like to ask you all some opinion.
Would it be advisable to get a 32" LCD TV with full HD or just get one without full HD.
The price difference is huge from a full HD to a non full HD. Also nowadays the GCs have full HD ?

For PC use, definately get FullHD, if not yer desktop will look like 14inch monitor due low resolution.

And yes, ages ago graphic card can do even higher than FullHD.

HD and FullHD terms, imo mainly for non-tech ppl or layman ppl.

HD = 1280x720 resolution.
FullHD = 1920x1080 resolution.

Oops, typo corrected reminded by aria88 blush.gif

Totally noob in plasma TV...
I'm still using my 25-year old National Quintrix TV, which is still in good condition...lol

My budget is around RM 3k. Any other good brands to recommend?
