hi, would like ask u guyz opinion ..

i'm planning to buy an lcd tv, and with my budget of rm2000 i think i can only have 32 inch full hd , well i think its suit me enough

but currently i got offer 40" Samsung fullhd from someone with RM2000 as well,
so i think the offer is quite tempting, coz its 40" , but the warranty only got 3 months left, is it worth and reliable for me?

how much it will cost if need to repair when problem occur? any shop that can repair lcd tv?

btw it's Samsung 40" Full HD LA40A650

I need to get a new TV. It has to be either 37" or 40". Plasma or LCD dunno yet. Primarily for Astro and downloaded movies. Maybe BD in the future. No gaming at this time. Mintak tolong.... FullHD LCD or Plasma? I was considering LC37A66M Sharp....looks nice.

check with the shop where he bought whether can get extended warranty or smthing...

trust me...you'd be lucky if this set survives another year...LCD has very limited lifespan, unlike the good old CRT. Everything bows to luck bro. but if it go kaput...maybe u need to fork about a few hundred for repairs...

read somewhere here there's a samsung warehouse sale...maybe u wanna check that out first...coz surely u'd get longer warranty from sales like that

Hi..tks for the reply. So Plasma...but only 42" got right?....hmmmmmm

50" oso got, 65" oso oso got.

2" difference only, you hardly notice it sitting at 10 feet away.
Panasonic TH-P42S10K, price very tempting and performance also good.

aiseh...the thing is i am like 7ft from the TV lar...
Also...i wondering if i can get 5yr warranty!...still waiting for resp from bloodysick.

LCD can last about 60,000 hours while plasma can last about 100,000 hours, which one do you think can last longer? If your priority is movies, I strongly suggest you go for plasma, 42in Panasonic full HD plasma now selling at very affordable price
