But the sad things is that many LCD manufacturers are adopting glossy screens just to make the TV looks good.

Apparently the glossy screen helps improve contrast (even LCD monitors have them) but trade off is the reflection. Personally I feel this trade off not worthwhile. The reflections too distracting.

the prob is that yellow kaler from light reflection on surface such as face/floor/shirt become green.. any1 know why.. anyway will claim my waranty for this..
*
I think it is just the anti-glare coating on the surface which is changing the colour of the reflection. There is nothing wrong with pictures/movies shown on the TV right?

If you try to claim warranty I think the salesman will silently laugh at u because nothing wrong with the TV.

actually the maintenance for c200k is rm800 per 12k km , so its not bad, considering japanese makes services are about rm300-400 for 5000km services.
contis isnt really that expensive maintaining, if u got a good mechanic and stuff

Maintenance of Jap cars less than that. Mine is only RM300-400 per 10k km.

update

and today - 28-8-09 - 3pm - my samsung lcd tv does not want to switch on at all...RIP sad.gif  ....gosh...wish i could just DIY the repair myself...

after only a few weeks after the warranty ended...the lcd go kaput...speaking of bad luck huh?!!
*
Sorry to hear about that.

Since it's only a few weeks after warranty ended I suggest you quickly write in to Samsung to complain. They might still entertain you. But be quick about it.
