U mnp by U mobile kinda sukosos

getting frustrated with UM.. nowdays people hardly can call me esp those using celcom.. call failed. Even my wife who is using UM also cannot call my number at all

Mine always change to roaming.

Thought of jumping to umobile cos the plan is cheaper than Digi (for the internet)

Currently , using the digi 48 smart plan but still expensive after include the call/sms

I'm gonna do mnp from hotlink to umobile postpaid + phone. I just went to umobile tropicana n that guy said I need to wait for mnp to settle 1st in about a week.. Than I need to go back there to get the phone. Issit true? Cannot get the phone ondespot?

Yes seems reasonable. The phone is subsidised by your new postpaid plan so U Mobile need to confirm your mnp goes through and the plan is set up first.

Thinking to port one of my number to Umobile's U28 plan.. anyone know whether if it's bound to contract? If so, how many months is it?

I guess the 3G coverage for areas around KL / Selangor should be fine right

I think U-mobile's coverage is worse than Digi

of coz digi 3g coverage is wider than umobile but digi's speed is really pathetic. so u want coverage or speed ? i dont travel much outside kl so for me, im ok with umobile.

What's the point of having better speed but lousier coverage? lol

if u want lousy speed, unreliable then go ahead with digi.

Yeah, I do realize about that point but it's ok as I'm taking U28 plan for it's data only. I will still be using my DiGi Campus for calling / etc.

So within KL / Selangor the coverage is fine right?
As for the speed, I've saw it and impressed by it.. ranging from 1mbps (minimum) to 8mbps..

Anyway, anyone know whether if the U28 plan is bound to contract? If so, I might as well as take up a device at a subsidized price

#truestory, i just mnp my digi > Umobile last week. and i just use 6 days.

ps: digi campus rate suck and suck. i rather get easy buddies

sumbit my request to port in from DiGi on last wednesday (public holiday) at umobile berjaya times square and just now successfully port into umobile network..so basically it took them 1 and half working day only

Penang's UM coverage is excellent !

How is the Umobile coverage / signal as compared to your DiGi previously? Gonna port 1 of my number to Umobile next week.. haven't decide which number to port tho..

Too lazy to port sub-number cause have to carry 2 phones around , but feel like keeping DiGi Campus (my main).
