no additional charges, but the data speed will be much slower under Celcom the discounted IDD rates under IDD 1310 can only be used on Umobile 3G network too |

Umobile Prepaid have new plan rules [for activation from 20 January 2012 onwards]
http://www.u.com.my/prepaid-packages/free_sms_and_free_call Free Um-Um calls now only 12am-7pm, after that it is 6 sen/min Free 20 sms (to Um) for every 6 sms sent, this apply during the same no of days as the free Um-Um calls Reminds me how DiGi changed the Easy plan early last year This post has been edited by dgboy: Jan 22 2012, 10:31 PM |

QUOTE(Nuke @ Feb 18 2012, 11:32 PM) Anyone else have problem calling to another UM number? Me and my wife both using UM number and we can't call each other.. always getting call failed Yes, I found it is much easier to connect the call if both side are on Um 3G network rather than Celcom 2G. |

QUOTE(deathscyther @ Apr 7 2012, 03:00 PM) I'm gonna do mnp from hotlink to umobile postpaid + phone. I just went to umobile tropicana n that guy said I need to wait for mnp to settle 1st in about a week.. Than I need to go back there to get the phone. Issit true? Cannot get the phone ondespot? Yes seems reasonable. The phone is subsidised by your new postpaid plan so U Mobile need to confirm your mnp goes through and the plan is set up first. This post has been edited by dgboy: Apr 7 2012, 03:13 PM |

U Mobile have no gsm licence
UMobile2G = roaming on celcom U Mobile = roaming on maxis U Mobile 3G = their own 3G network* * correction: it seems their own network dropped the 3G so U Mobile could mean either UM or maxis some more just now for first time I got the maxis under both 3G and gsm mode... however there is no access yet via maxis 3G This post has been edited by dgboy: Aug 29 2012, 11:59 PM |
