Successfully updated 4 units of ST31000340AS and 2 units of ST3500320AS. Although, 1 month back I had 1 unit of ST31000340AS dead (under RMA at the moment).

I burn twice the image file to a CD...
After boot up from it, i get this error Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or insert boot media and press a key How to burn it to the disc r ? |

its so easy...just select burn image..but actually u may use alcohol to open the iso file & then burn into black cd aswell

Successful Update my ST31000340AS OEM drive with P/N ending with -303 Made in Thailand from SD15 to SD1A frimware.
Update took less than 1 minute. |

owned 2x seagate 500gb bought in last year, still working.
now i buy a WD green 1TB for backup, wait 1 more week, no negative feedback then flash my seagate, then after that i got 1TB extra doing nothing.... bye bye seagate, for good |
