As DiGi is always competitive when it comes to their pricing, I would expect it to be somehow similar to Celcom's 3G plan.

I'm getting really tired of spam on Digi. Is there any way I can block all SMS from all shortcodes except for 2000? I never want them when I have the Digi SIM card in.

Even if you port to Maxis and Celcom, you'll still receive those messages. They don't cost you RM1 to delete them do they? Just press delete and live with it.

Let's say if we make video calls, I know we will be charged but will the other party be charged as well say for the 3G download/upload data packets ?

From DiGi's website, they say there are no GPRS charges. When I talked to a customer support person via D'Chat, she said there will be GPRS charges for sending MMS at 10 cents per 10kB.

RM 30 is commitment fees, use more than RM 30 then pay more. For example, if use RM 40, then pay RM 40. Use RM 20 needs to pay RM 30 because that is the minimum payment you should make.
Yes, supplementary to supplementary is free too.
You can choose separate account. I think the bill will be sent to you but your charges will be charged separately.
Can't really sure about the billing address because my friend is her BF's supplementary line and they separated their bills but the bill is sent to her BF's house.

I am a maxis user.
Some of my digi friends need to chat with me at sms, so I buy a digi prepaid.
I just subscribe Super SMS, it is really really good for sending sms to digi user, is very very cheap, really, hope digi can maintain this service, and good for user who send sms alot.

You should totally change over to DiGi. With MNP, it makes life easier.
You gotta love its DiGi postpaid too, if you have supplementary lines. It is unlimited free calls/SMS/MMS to your supplementary lines (vice-versa) and between your supplementary lines. So, far only DiGi offers unlimited.

I want change to digi postpaid but one thing is the remain of the balance will not carry forward to the next month.
I send an e-mail to them, reply and say they will improve.
I am using Maxis now, the remain balance will bring to the next month just one month only.
Using RM50 plan and my call credit just plus minus RM30, and the balance is RM20.
Hope that digi will have this bring forward service but still remain the user compulsorily pay their month commitment.

Eh, I thought all Maxis Value Plan won't bring forward the credit? When I was on Maxis, I didn't have such incentive.

Well, put it this way, I never had the chance to bring forward my credit! Always twice more than my plan. I was on VP 50, but always around RM 100.

Luckily, no more on DiGi.

Just because you make the call over RM100 so do not have any balance to bring forward and you have to pay more
Because Maxis charge here charge there, so make your telephone bill cost too much.
And also have offpeak and peak time, make me feel uncomfortable have to call after 7 then cheaper.

That's why after I switched to DiGi and I never looked back. Though more than 90% of my contact list consists of Maxis users but ironically I save more on DiGi.
Those important people are already using DiGi and I get to call/SMS/MMS DiGi no. for RM 50.00 free of charge every month. So, that is why I'm not turning back to Maxis.

I guess DiGi will just have to improve with their call quality as I do get disconnected from calls quite often for the last 2 days.

Yeah, DiGi's coverage is not so good compared to others but still improving. So far didn't face any disconnection except when it reaches around 45 minutes call. I think DiGi wants to remind me I have talked for 45 minutes. That doesn't happen that frequently, I still managed to talk on phone for more than 1 hour without disconnection.

I think it was 2 days back when I keep getting disconnected and the call was like 5-6 minutes only.

Yeah, could be coverage problem. I think this problem occurs to all telcos as I saw many complained before how often they get call drops on Maxis.

However, my newly ported Celcom line has been great. I've yet to see the signal strength drop, it has been full bar all the way from the time it was activated.

Celcom is popular for its widest and strongest coverage.

I also port my celcom prepaid to DiGi prepaid and citilink courier service delivered the sim card to my house

Yea, my previous Hotlink number is now under Celcom as a secondary line. With the good coverage, it will definitely serve as a good backup line.

Right, the rates are good as well as the coverage plus no expiry until I'm 26 years old.
However, it still does not beat DiGi's Postpaid rates especially free unlimited calls between principal and supplementary lines.

Undeniably, U.O.X. is a good choice for prepaid if your distribution of users in your phonebook is quite balance. As it is cheap to all telcos.
DiGi prepaid gives better benefits if it is DiGi user to DiGi user.

Just a question here, I wonder why Digi always have "Line 1" and "Line 2" option.

Anyway, my 012 number is now DIGI

It has been discussed on the last version.
Line 1 and Line 2 allow you to receive calls but only can only make calls from Line 1.

The call rates on DiGi Postpaid is cheaper and benefits of using a postpaid is don't have to worry running out of credit when it is needed the most.

Yes, that's why I don't want to be on prepaid.
Running out of credit and credit got expired are just too annoying.

Especially when there are emergencies as in personal issues and there is not enough credit to make a call out, frustrating.

anyway, i changed my DG20 to DG50 this month onwards~ too bad my gf's family side all using hotlink.. she seems like donwant supp under my DG50 plan because of that. Unless i got her whole family go switch to DiGi.

What's the problem ? She can call her family with no problem at all since the call rate is flat to all networks.

Her family call her with higher rate.. this is the main consideration

celcom no doubt their line are much stronger... that's why i'm using 2 lines and digi as my main line (calling are cheaper) and celcom as my 2nd line (as their calling rates are alot more expensive and this celcom is prepaid just for backup)...

guess that would do a great package... hehe...

I wondering why I receive so many spam sms....all start with 016-XXXxxxx. Looks like those spammers become so clever to send their spam sms using normal numbers...

Last I heard, a beta tester experienced about 600kB/s of download speed.

For example what kind of spams ?

The last time I tried, it was around 7xxkB/s

Such as subscription for service to download "free" video, ringtone, wallpaper....

Sometimes those spam sms are in Malay..

If it is the same when there are more subscribers, it would be great to have such speeds at home. Many people wouldn't mind about the price if it does promises this kind of speed.

checked the bill via online.. all doesnt sum up to Rm92 oso.. so just tell the person in charge when i pay my bills?

did u used any features from digi which is no included as "call charges"
such as talktime transfer wont be under call charges...
u u transfer RM30 talktime to anyone, means this month u have to pay RM52+RM30

Have you checked both the current bill and unbilled transaction ? If the bills looks fine then just print out the bill as seen online and show them that it didn't total up to RM92.

Hopefully. From what I know, they are going to enforce some quotas for each area so that that particular area won't get too congested.

Then it is better if you print the bill you see online and bring to any DiGi Centre to enquire and have them explain to you.

No, talk to the customer service officer as soon as possible. Let them rectify your problem, even though if it is their error, you still need to pay RM 92 and the balance will be deducted in your next bill.
