QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Jan 22 2009, 06:30 PM) From DiGi's website, they say there are no GPRS charges. When I talked to a customer support person via D'Chat, she said there will be GPRS charges for sending MMS at 10 cents per 10kB. The sender is charged for each MMS, not size of MMS. Each MMS is only 300KB in size, as stated by DiGi website.

QUOTE(Cowhide @ Feb 8 2009, 12:35 AM) Whats the deal about 3G? What can we actually do/function with 3G? Who actually needs 3G? Browse internet, we can do it at home/office. Need to get messages like email? already have sms. Need news? got newspaper & tv. Is 3G alternative to Streamyx? What about cost? Steamyx 512Mb = RM66+25phonerental Please explain to me. Tks. I use the computer for almost everything. My work, studies, hobby, leisure, everything on computer. Once I leave home, I need to remain connected. Not a necessity but it's helpful. Checking mails, logging in to uni portal to check for sudden announcement and even checking test/exam results the minute it's released. When I'm free, while the girls are shopping, I get online in messenger and catch up with friends. I don't watch TV news, unless I happen to see the TV at the right time. The PDA/phone is definitely a fast way to get news. Conclusion is, everyone will find use in mobile internet.

QUOTE(figure8 @ Feb 9 2009, 10:55 AM) guys. wanna know whether digi will send spam message to my postpaid. i been using maxis for almost 10 years. migrate to maxis postpaid last year n my inbox full of maxis spam. i hope digi will never send those bull****... Most of the advertisement SMS are targeted to prepaid users who uses their free value added service like missed-call alert. My dad's DiGi postpaid have no advertisement. Even if you have, you can request not to receive advertisement.

QUOTE(allrightall @ Feb 17 2009, 02:42 PM) fu-yoh like that so keng, then why the fuss about 128k? LOL. If I have not mistaken, maxis users may continue to use 64K SIM card for 3G. USIM may improve performance, I guess.

The DiGi MSN doesn't download on my HTC Touch Diamond. It says phone not supported. I guess they detect phone model by user agent string. Either I need to find a way to modify my phone's string or get the .jar file.

No, 6600s is a phone model itself, not 6610i. 6230 is not supported too. I doubt it would run on 6230 platform too.

I would appreciate if someone could send me the file. Otherwise, I will attempt to borrow a compatible phone from my friends tomorrow. If I can get hold of the file, I would be distributing the file.

QUOTE(Thrust @ Mar 25 2009, 10:20 PM) I want to use DIGI MSN but i'm on Windows Mobile 6 In fact, it installs onto java emulators in WM6.1. It runs but doesn't establish data connection. Diamond does not have typical buttons, not allowing me to click on anything. QUOTE(zx7177 @ Mar 25 2009, 10:25 PM) the page identifies phones by their user agent But can you get all the files? Added on March 25, 2009, 10:42 pmThe following are N95 installation files. I assume it would work for other models. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OQ05ATFOhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=7US2SRI4This post has been edited by mengsuan: Mar 25 2009, 10:42 PM
