aiyo, i think light weights with high reps will do enough. Then they should not do too much if they think theyre getting big. That settles it

If its anything to do with bf% levels, its the diet problem. not so much so of the exercise.
read up more on nutrition and diets to see where you're going wrong for the goals you want |

Eat the right food, the right amount at the right time. You're probably not drinking enough water also. Learn how to split your meals into 4-5 meals a day, using snacks (fruits, healthy stuff) wisely in between normal meals. |

Just a lil add on to what i said, for weight loss, diet is 70% of the result and exercise is 30%.
so you should know where to focus your energy more |

You're probably not drinking enough water also. Learn how to split your meals into 4-5 meals a day, using snacks (fruits, healthy stuff) wisely in between normal meals. i tried not taking bread/rice but only survive for 1-3 days i think its very difficult to stick with only lean protein/fruits/vege/dairy for the rest of our lives. esp for food lover like me! i love carbbbss.. give me carrrbbb.. so my question is, is it possible to still incorporate "generous" amount of carb (of which ppl like me cn still tolerate) into a meal while losing fat, and how should we do it? yesterday my post workout meal was 3 bananas, 5 mandarines thanks EVERYBODY who replied |

QUOTE(eirn_drock @ May 21 2009, 08:08 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Never make your diet/eating habits a torture for yourself. 3x bananas (90-100 cals) = +-300 calories (I don't even eat that many bananas after workout X^D ) 5 mandarin oranges (45 cals) = +- 225 calories Total approx 500 calories!! 50kg, jogging at 8km/h for 60 minutes = approx 420 calories Do the math lah using this calculator: http://www.dietandfitnesstoday.com/calorie...-calculator.php Just control the amount of carbs you eat (preferably simple carbs are reduced). Eat less of carbs, and increase your fibre. It's almost impossible to eliminate all carbs considering we're Asians. Instead of a bowl of rice, you take half a bowl but more vege. Instead of 2-3 slices of bread in the morning, you take cereals/oats & eggs. Drink a glass of water before you eat lah. People think they are hungry when they are actually thirsty. Anyway, your body fat % is considered lean/normal lah. 17% and less is considered athlete level. This post has been edited by iamyuanwu: May 21 2009, 10:27 PM |

Errr... bananas?
Banana is nature's energy bar lah. High in energy, full of vitamins and minerals. Damn good. But don't go crazy eating a ridiculous amounts of bananas if you want to lose fat. Keep it reasonable. |
