Added on February 12, 2009, 10:06 amwhile u standing facing ur battery, there is a hole on the right chassis which next to battery. Run ur CAI into that hole and route it inside the fender, that's how i did mine.

just wonder if we can install an alarm light at the driver's side on waja, akin to those in wira and other car(the blinking light when the alarm is on).... btw, mine was a factory pre-installed alarm system.

another question; is it normal for the car's RPM to drop and stay in 1K when we start the engine in the
morning?

u may try to tap from HU wire harness, when our standard alarm acitvated there is a blinking red led on our HU. To me i prefer not to have that as ppl will know if u forget to activate ur alarm.

About the RPM is normal.

Am checking out on Proton Waja used car , would like to ask is there Proton Waja (Mitsubishi Engine) with ABS and AirBag one ? its consider 1.6 premium or ?

those with ABS, airbagss, leather seat and 4G18P engine is the premium model. thus badge as 1.6X.
the standard 1.6 waja 4G18 doesn't come with those features.

O. 1.6X Premium come with ABS also ah , is there Proton Waja Special edition launch in 2005 ? because just saw it in the advertisement ,what is the difference ?

There another batch called 'Enhance Version' started produced at July 2004 has brown interior,ABS, airbag and 16" rims. Just the matter it's doesn't came with leather seat like 1.6X.(i remember this cause brought my car at this year..lol )

yes, need to remove the snorkel and the duct hose that connected to ur airbox.

hello all,

Another question to ask, last time, when i adjust my waja's headlamp height(using screw) the screw inside broke and i had to change it with a new headlamp..now, the new headlamp is so much brighter than the older one(which is 8 years old). the older 1 cant project the light beam as far and as strong as the new one.

So, is there a way to clean/restore the old headlamp? at night driving, here in kelantan, the difference is quite big, very noticeable.

CPS has higher idling...

This video show how to clean the outside part...mine, the problem is with the lens....instead of being transparent when the lights are on, it is now translucent. the problem lies with the lens..not the casing..the casing, no problem because it is made from glass

Maybe you could try to replace the bulb. Try to use the same set. Last time had same problem like this with my previous car then afterwards everything looks balance.

Any suggestion for a reasonably priced SPL component set?
