QUOTE(naziaf @ Jan 6 2009, 10:58 AM)
I have a problem.

When I go to Media->Images, the screen will be blank (I'm assuming it's searching my memory card for images). Options key doesn't do anything, so I can only exit. When I access Images again, it will only show pictures stored in my phone memory. None from memory card.

So I checked Tools->Memory->Options->Memory Details. There are no Images, Documents, video files etc listed at all.

I think this is a problem with the phone scanning the memory card. Is there a way for my E71 to manually fix the card corruption? I hope there's a simple solution. I tried removing and inserting the card again but it doesn't fix it.

Just an update. I can still access/view the files through File Manager though.

Like kimwai said, try reformatting the memory card smile.gif

You cannot turn the default camera sound off. It is illegal in some countries to have no camera sound.

changing the phone to silent will not work in most of the firmwares..
You will need a 3rd party software to silent the camera..

You can always try the conventional way of using your finger to close the speaker tongue.gif

I dont have this problem. I need to put a little bit of effort just to get the battery out. Check the mounting that holds the battery. Maybe it's worn out or sth.

1. cannot be silenced
2. go apply the "black-thin-1 sided-tape"(nokia oso tampal this tape behind the inner back cover) on top the low panel.

i think u jus have to enabled unsigned application cos i'm the one who intro ccam in the v1 thread. hehe, works for me, although true thing is ccam is kinda simple. so bored of it di, looking for new cam software, will post when I found it.

yeah.. the black-thin-1 sided-tape is the one which holds it and probably preventing the battery from short circuiting to the metal back cover. In fact, there are 2 stripes..
