guys, i have a question. Do the screen size adequate for GPS usage?

How about E71 vs 5800. I'm thinking of getting one of them. Right now doing the survey and info gathering.

everything is accordance. in msg inbox it still shows last name instead of first name. juz like ORANGYSB mentioned earlier...

my advise. get 5800. dun trade/sell away your e71 yet. use for 1 week. u will know what u want. we trade? in 1 week time, u dun like, trade back lo. i'm bored for 5800. after all it's still a phone. i'm a young man who dressed up in corporate look weekdays. e71 still my cup of tea.

So your advice is to get the E71. I use my phone (winmobile) to sync up with my office outlook calendar. Lots of meeting. Right now looking for one with gps support.

i noticed one very weird problem or is this inherent in all nokia search,

if i save my contact name as first name : Alex , Last name : Goh KengHuat

another name i put as first name : Ampang , Last name : workshop

when i type in "shop" to search, the name Ampang, workshop comes out, but when i try to search for the word "huat" northing comes out, why is it so weird, i want to search using the words in the middle of the name.

E71 should be a good choice for you. 5800 could comes in second. 5800 for me is just too fancy.

if only E71 has touch screen.... it would be fan-fuking-tastic for everything expecially for web browsing and GPS.

it wil also cost a lot more den close to 2k

is a big NO NO to me. if nokia were to develop E71 or maybe, maybe E72 w/ touch screen. they would lost potential customers who still love no-touch-screen-e-series-qwerty nokia.

how about the battery life of e71 for normal usage? From what I read, it is outstanding.

hehe, E71 is good but if u want to be cool u can get 5800. I myself getting a Samsung F480 Tocco. Of cos specs-wise its inferior to E71, but just look, getting an extra F480, but me still a loyal Nokia user. But i got an irresistable offer for F480 so cannot tahan.
