QUOTE(scofield @ Jan 5 2009, 08:12 PM) hmm..weird case considering your phone is software free..could be the memory card corrupted? try use a different memory card and check whether its working..else, bring your phone to nokia center..if i'm not mistake if you bought the phone and it have some problems within 7 days, they'll replace it with a new one..if i'm not mistaken la.. Most probably is the memory card problem. Try removing the memory card and try again.. |

You can always try the conventional way of using your finger to close the speaker EDIT: regarding the camera sound, it kinda bugged me too. Its hard to not wake up my friends when I wanna capture them in sleeping state. |

QUOTE(mrhenree @ Jan 7 2009, 08:10 PM) 1. cannot be silenced yeah.. the black-thin-1 sided-tape is the one which holds it and probably preventing the battery from short circuiting to the metal back cover. In fact, there are 2 stripes.. 2. go apply the "black-thin-1 sided-tape"(nokia oso tampal this tape behind the inner back cover) on top the low panel. i hope u get what i mean. |

I'm still not able to decide whether to update my firmware or not..
Currently using the ancient firmware (100.07.76) but so far quite happy with it.. Should I update to the latest firmware or should I just stick with what I have? |

QUOTE(jon_jai @ Jan 18 2009, 06:19 PM) If you dont hack your phone, I'd say update. What is the difference between update using the Nokia Backup and using the phone to backup to the Memory card?Just go to your MEMORY and create a backup, then restore after the firmware update. Everything will be at its original place. contents of backup will be the same? which is faster? |
