heelo guys,

can some1 help me how to fix the keypad problem?which is it involve symbol button.when i press '?' symbol,it will shown '.' symbol.how to fix it?can i send to any shop to fix it?

i think my problem was same as yours, the key was different from that printed on the keypad
my set is the taiwan set, after upgrade firmware it goes back to the correct symbol.

If I not mistaken this problem is base on Firmware.

go to Menu->Tools->Settings->General->Positioning->Positioning Methods..make sure you enable Intergrated GPS..if you did, and still cannot get the satellite signal, then i guess your area coverage got problem..

go locate application manager and find setting,

software installation = all
cert check = off

or

try hard reset, *#7370#

Just saw this post unreplied. Emm, mine was initially flat, and it oni took less than 2hours to get a full charged batt.

Did u use the phone while charging? running any apps at the background while charging?

does any of you have the problem of showing the last name first in your messages? like instead of james chan it shows chan james instead...

it used to display correctly for mine but after something which i'm not sure what i did, it became like this...

ermm..something to do with the contact list appearance? like mine, it only shows the last name..so in the inbox, it shows the last name of my contact..try and look into that..

For convenience, I just usually put new contacts name in to the Last name label. It can fit 50 characters. So it shud be fine. When u view ur msgs, it will jz appear as the same as the one one u registered into ur contacts

the names in my contact list display normally, i've made sure the setting is set to "first name last name"

i like to organise people's names into first name and last name, so it's kinda annoying to see their surnames first, and it'll be tedious to change them all to just the last name

hey. i am not sure whether this is the solution. But try going to Contacts > Options> Settings > Name Display.

very unlucky la me. on november my ASUS F8SG dropped when i was in the bus and cracked the casing. (still havnt repair yet but i bet it will cost a few hundreds too). and now my lovely E71. stupid me havnt install invisible shield yet. aiseh. this new cover must install for sure =,=!

so..few days ago i said that i'm testing the battery life..change my network to GSM instead of dual band..got a nice 4.5 days..can say a lot of sms..less then an hour of received calls..and a lil bit of wifi usage..not bad..

guys, one question..where should i place the video file so that the Divx mobile player could load it into the list?

may i ask. .how's the pic quality after the new firmware update? does the pic still have inaccurate colors? i ws trying a demo set a nokia store and notice the actual color was light blue but came out dark blue in e71. .

u using old type slow charger?
