QUOTE(rock_world @ Dec 28 2008, 11:56 PM) new grey e71 user here..as a newbie i have many question.. i believe the installation runs but it is mainly checking if all require software is installed. only the first time switching on will take a long time. then it will be fine. but anyway, normally it won't pop up installation unless it is incomplete the previous time. so maybe u shud jus let it complete the whole process then it shud be fine di.1 of them why my e71 keep installing when i switch off and on everytime? |

looks like clearing cache and history didn't really cure my problem, the disappearing menu problem still persists.
However, for the past 1 week, my phone ok di. No such problem, dunno maybe my phone "ki siao" dat time. |

QUOTE(repusez @ Jan 7 2009, 01:55 PM) i'm also annoy because the flash is always set to auto, you need to reset it to OFF everytime you use the camera. i think u jus have to enabled unsigned application cos i'm the one who intro ccam in the v1 thread. hehe, works for me, although true thing is ccam is kinda simple. so bored of it di, looking for new cam software, will post when I found it.anyone can do signing of unsigned symbian application like cCam |

QUOTE(mykomputer @ Jan 9 2009, 10:19 AM) So your advice is to get the E71. I use my phone (winmobile) to sync up with my office outlook calendar. Lots of meeting. Right now looking for one with gps support. hehe, E71 is good but if u want to be cool u can get 5800. I myself getting a Samsung F480 Tocco. Of cos specs-wise its inferior to E71, but just look, getting an extra F480, but me still a loyal Nokia user. But i got an irresistable offer for F480 so cannot tahan. |

QUOTE(M19 @ Jan 12 2009, 10:12 PM) hmm... i actually got a hands-on typing with E71 qwerty... but find a bit difficult pressing it with my thumb and moving all around to search for letters... after typing a line , i feel a lil dizzy if you fingers are really big, then maybe u shud get an E66. I think i've got fat fingers but i still have an easy time using E71's qwerty. Maybe u jus need to get used to it? Cos i tot it was hard in the beginning as well but now I can type with even 1 hand. |
