umm jailbreak will allow u to unleash ipod touch's maximum potential.
For example, u can play gameboy advance / ps1 games on ipod.
U can also get apps for free (illegal way).
If u want to send ur ipod to service just unjailbreak it and they wont noe the diff.

Don't expect people to spoon feed you when a wide range of information can be found by google.
If everyday got 10 ppl come asking the same question "what is jailbreak", then don't expect them to get what they want.
They'll have to do a simple research using google to understand it 1st. If there's more doubt that can't be answered in a FAQ then only ask.

Forum is place when you have done your research through varities of information but can't find the solution
or further doubt that are not resolved then forumers will be more than please to clear your thoughts.
Don't be lazy to do research. As what people always said, there is always Uncle Google that will never resist you.

No try. err i bet it is slow. why? the dl speed is no problem but the problem is upload speed(server side). U know la, our screamyx upload speed sux like hell. Last time i got try Remote my desktop via my macbook. Yea. hell lag.

For real? Aww, was planning to get it. I tried before remote control (PC to PC la ) was decent.. This one very lag ah? Darn it.. Then I don't think I'll be buying it :-\

I bought LogMeIn and it works flawlessly, but you should know that LogMeIn can be accessed via browser (tried Safari on iPod but cant work though). Another thing is it requires adequate bandwidth.

Nice! A LMI user here! May I know what screen resolution you have running on your desktop? Also the upstream connection on the server side, and downstream connection on your iPod when you used it. Would it run smoothly with the typical public wifi connection?

Yes it will void your warranty.
But, if u can restore it (aka un-jb it), i think u should be able to claim back warranty.
I doubt Apple will check your ipod touch thoroughly for sign of JB.

Hie guys I just got my iPod touch 16GB yesterday and overall i'm very satisfied with it and the only thing it lacks is a stylus which would make it easier to input notes and such. I have pretty huge fingers. >_>

And out of curiosity, would it be more battery saving if I were to leave it on 24/7 rather than switching it on and off?

There's one company which produces a special stylus that works with the iPod Touch. Saw it in the newspaper. Can't recall the brand name of the stylus but I remember the price being around USD 14.

Anyways, does anyone know where to get the anti-fingerprint screen protector for the iTouch. I've tried Machines but they don't seem to sell them.

And is there any shops that sells cheaper iTouch accessories besides places like Machines or Mac City?

later on only found out didnt have to reset the device again,just continue
