try fring

actually i havent used my fring after how long i downloaded it dun like IM using ipod haha. im using the 8GB one and my songs are around 5GB (dont want to put my whole library in there anyway...wont fit and wud be too hard to search for the songs i actually like), but no storage problems for the apps so far. they come in really small sizes. can't really remember the exact sizes, but i think they're mostly under 20MB. then again, I only have the free ones el cheapo haha

by all means go for the 2nd gen. faster processor (evn faster than iphone 3g) and got oh-so-useful speakers!

i dont see why flash wouldn't be available. it should be there in the first place

actually 8gb is enuf 4 me cuz i dont put videos n photos haha. its just to hold my music (only arnd 4GB...dont want to put my whole library in...wont fit plus hard to scroll ), let me surf the internet, n use the apps n games.

im not saying i thought the apps are legal. i just thought that since jailbreaking and hackintosh (well, not really illegal perhaps, but still against a company's intention) are open for discussion, so torrent may be too

as for chargers, that's the one thing i would swear to not buy cap ayam ones. im sure brands like griffin, belkin n xtrememac have wall chargers. cap ayam chargers scare the hell out of me, juz imagine what could happen to ur beloved gadgets....

someone said that u can register at itunes without credit card if u put ur location as US or Africa. try it out

erm if tuning to radio like in ur car, obviously cannot la cuz its doesnt have the antenna. best chance is to find a website that streams it. i dun know if there are any / if it works, but then it means u'll need wifi anyway to tune in. i think there's a lot more fun stuff u can do with an ipodtouch at a wifi spot rather than juz listening to d radio

before 2.2 there should be the shuffle n repeat buttons. if 2.2, u shud have shuffle, repeat Genius. and yes, genius doesnt work here, but u should have the button nonetheless.

i suggest (re)downloading the firmware
