Weeeeeeee! I've just got an iPod Touch 2G as a present from my sis!

Is there any jump start guide for newbs like me? Planning to wait till I get a ZAGG InvisibleSHIELD before I take it out from the case

Is it? I have no idea I'm a super newbie to Apple products. Then again, a random bunch at a cafe probably won't notice that much la If I saw some guy talking into a Touch I would just think it's an iPhone

Do share when you get yours. It should be a pretty darn good addition to the Touch, might get it after I fulfill my other desires

Damn! I might actually get addicted to it for use in school. Now 2-3 hours is definitely not enough!!

I have 2+1 hours class of it on every Tuesday. The battery ain't gonna last!

Well depends on the lecturer. I'm gonna have a different lecturer after CNY for god-knows-what reason. If still stick to the current lecturer, definitely multitask

Some lecturers mind very much though. I remember once when a new student came in for our American History class, she was taking notes with a..uh, something like those kind of small digital dictionaries, kena scolded by the lecturer like hell

Only applies for mathematics classes

Oh and, do apps take up a lot of storage space? Since mine is the smallest one, 8GB, wondering if it'll get filled up very fast.

Ah, that's good to know. Plenty of space for audio files then Don't think I'll be going through the trouble to convert my avi/mkv files to mp4.

Oh, didn't know lower bit rate consumes less battery. What program do you use to do the conversion? Does it take a long time for the conversion to finish? Though I probably would only take this sorta measures when I'm running out of space, or if it makes a big difference for the battery consumption.

This makes me feel that my 8GB is nothing

Blah. I totally screwed up my installation of the InvisibleSHIELD. Heck, that's even an understatement Gotta get another shield, GAH!
