Everything settled after a hard work of more than 10 hours!
I pretty learned my lesson and I wanna share it you guys and I hope it'll really help.

First if you wanna update to a newer firmware, always have the current or any firmware prepared in your computer
in case of any mishap, there's always an alternate of DFU to recover it back.

As some of it was the fault of iTunes, I used my friends laptop to restore it back.
Normal restore ain't working but DFU in his computer worked like a charm.
It was a really frustrating day but it relieved me a lot when I settled it.

Few hours of Googling and few hours of attempt really fruit out the work.
Now it took time to synchronize it back but nevertheless I'm glad that my iPod is working now.

Also do some research before update your iPod to the latest firmware, who knows the latest wouldn't be as stable as the current one?

You don't need to jailbreak for BeejiveIM to run in background. You can set it in Settings-BeejiveIM-Session Timeout.
*
Well, that's not entirely accurate. When you exit to Home, BeejiveIM is no longer running. Just that they store your account in their server as logged in for up to 24 hours, and stores any incoming message. I suppose he's asking for truly running-in-the-background, where you can still get sound notifications of incoming messages unsure.gif

yea. sth like that. Just dl via cydia there. it will auto install and u choose the theme by going to winterboard.app
I've used once, direct uninstall. lulz.. Categories = Crap

Btw, you can use Respring (soft-resetting) under SBSetting. Usually i use SBSetting to hide the apps then use searcher or SBSetting again to launch the apps that were hidden.
*
cydia?? jailbreaked?
how is i using 2G? any application can change the theme?

Don't know 'bout JB, but for normal, you can set it to e-mail you (the account that you use in the Mail) then rely on the fetch/push system to get notified. And if Malaysia telcos support e-mail-to-SMS, can get an SMS alert too. That's all I know unsure.gif

cydia is sth like '3rd party' Appstore.

in short, JB is breaking the system security and user can access the system without any restriction.

apart of bring 'ahem' app to your touch, you can fully customize your touch interface and almost everything. There's no restriction when you JB. And you can messing around with the system.

Pity you. Just right click your ipod touch at itunes there and choose backup. it will backup all your settings and apps. After you restore the firmware, plug in the cable and sync your backup with itunes.
